Jonah Lomu - Tribute to a legend

Jonah Lomu - Tribute to a legend

Jonah Lomu changed the game as we know it forever. He is the most recognisable player in world rugby and the first to become truly professional. Throughout his career he battled an illness that in the end, put him out of the game prematurely.

At his best he was unstoppable. Check out this great video highlights package from his career. 5 minutes long, so may take longer to load than most, but well worth it.

he's always been hard to put down when he plays against those white guys but when he plays against the Islanders like Samoa and Tonga,,,its a different story....I wonder why???

Jonah Lomu, one of the greats.one of the best players ive ever seen take the field.such a strong, solid runner.Massive UNIT.Him and Tana Umaga are My Idols.Lomu, always played to the best of his ability and never mananged not to stun the viewers.one of the most feared men to ever play the game.

I agree with the above comment! Jonah, what a force!!! I don't think you'll ever have such a super-star who was so devastating again... Why he never got the ball in the 1995 world cup final, i'll never know... stupid coaching staff... and to be used as a battering ram latter on in his career, when he should of been given a one on one situation in later all black squads is still beyond me!Jonah! never be another like him!
