Sharks beat Crusaders in the dying seconds
Down by 6 points and with time up on the clock, the Sharks got the ball deep in their own half. To win the game they'd need to score a try against the champion Crusaders, and convert it for the win.
They managed to break out from the 22 and through a string of passes, got the ball to Odwa Ndungane who flew in for the try that set up the pressure kick for Ruan Pienaar.
The rest, as they say, is history.

Boggle here, erm not to be too anal but there wasn't 2 minutes left, the clock had allready run out.if the saders put the ball into touch or simply killed it it would have been game over, which is what makes this all the more awesome :P

Not to beat a dead horse. But Crusaders...from New Zealand...perhaps a little arrogant of them to try and snatch the bonus point at the end instead of ending the game?Was that not the same arrogance we saw when the All Blacks should have dropped a goal when they were 10 meters away instead of 50?

Apparently Rico Gear said afterwards that he couldn't hear the siren with all the noise in the stadium, so that kinda explains why he didn't kick it out. Surely at least one of the players should have known though and given the order. What a finish though. Brilliant. Amazingly, a week later was the Western Force win in similar circumstances. Bring on Super 14 2008. I can't wait. :)

Frans Steyn, learn from Ruan...We really should have learnt from the Crusaders' mistake here, if we had; the S14-07 would be in our cabinet and not the boring Bulls...

Was at the game......unbelievable!!Kings Park is like a couldron, can understand why nobody heard the hooter. C'mon the Sharks!! What made it even sweeter is that we beat the best ever super rugby team.
