Friday Funnies - Odwa Ndungane butchers it over the line
A lovely move between Ryan Kankowski & Jaques Botes creates the opening as Botes goes through, doing all the hard work and popping the ball perfectly for Sharks wing Odwa Ndungane, the twin brother of Springbok Akona, to catch the ball and fall over the line. Simple? Apparently not.
Luckily for Odwa he went on to redeem himself by scoring a length of the field try that set up one of the most amazing finishes to a game you'll ever see.
If that hadn't happened though, this blunder would have gone down as the moment that cost the Sharks the match, and Odwa Ndungane wouldn't have been the most popular guy in Durban that night.

Poor Guy!Similar things have happened to me, although not when I'm already over the try line, and i bet his team mates will be ripping the piss for weeks to come about that!

teaches you a basic.....when you are close to the try line DO NOT LOOK BACK!!!!hell the point is..why look back??just put all your damn energy in getting over that damn line...peace.

first thing i thought was "why'd he look back?"if he thought he was gonna be tackled he should have dove, not turnedsilly blundergreat try later to win it though, followed by a fantastic kicki'm not a big super 14 fan but that was very good rugby

Think it was around the 60 min mark i think. If you look up the minutes kept it was about 30 seconds before Glasgow got their only try

Wow... poor Odwa... I think I remember watching this a while back, and threw my Sharks rugby ball at the tely' afterwards
