Friday Funnies - Justin Marshall Header
The Ospreys team in Wales are blessed with two very fine scrum halfs. One, an up and coming, no nonsense, physical and extremely large number nine. And the other, an All Black legend.
The rivalry between Welsh international Mike Phillips and former All Black Justin Marshall is there for all to see. In last years EDF Cup Semi, Phillips was still at the Cardiff Blues when Marshall totally outplayed him, which ignited the rivalry ahead of Phillips' switch to the Ospreys.
They're now teamates and have to fight for the starting berth each week. We couldn't resist posting this little clip of Marshall getting whacked in the head from Phillips' pass while on was on as a blood replacement for Lee Byrne.
Tongue in cheek, I think we know who won that battle.

he came on a replacement for Lee Byrne, possibly at full back? no idea.. Marshal needs no introduction (funny guy too :P) we're lucky that in terms of international rugby we can call on both Dwayne Peel and Mike Phillips :P

Marshall came on as a blood replacement for Lee Byrne at full back. He's played there for the O's before I think.Anyway... funny clip!

yes marshall has started for the ospreys at full back while they had 13 internationals away

It does look funny.But was Philips error.It looks like it was suposed to be a short ball to Parker. Marshal went to bind onto him and the pass went AWOL.Yes "anonymous" I think you're right. Marshal might have played for the Ospreys before. Once or twice.

James i agree andy nicol did seem pretty negitive towards the ospreys like when ian evans put that supurb grubber through for shane williams he said 'no need for that just pass it'cmon ian evans is a lock!!!

Shame to see Phillips is now out for 6 months. Big blow for the Ospreys European hopes.

grrrr cant belive phillips is injured!!!!!that means we're stuck with peel for the south africa tour and on current form thats a massive blow

When he came off the commentators said this " He has made no tackles, no runs, no passes and one header. Never put scrum halfs at fullback."
