Midweek Madness - Dan Carter's sneaky trip on George Gregan
This short comical clip comes to us from the Tri Nations game between the All Blacks & the Wallabies in 2005.
Chirpy scrum half George Gregan gets a bit of his own medicine when normally shy and angelic New Zealand flyhalf Dan Carter cant help but give in to a bit of temptation while stuck on the bottom of a ruck.
Carter sticks his leg out in a deliberate attempt to prevent Gregan from taking the quick tap. It works, with Gregan tripping and falling over amusingly, but unfortunately for Dan, its right in front of ref Tony Spreadbury.
Watch how Carter walks away on the first angle, chest puffed out, trying to look as innocent as possible as Spreaders heads over to chat with the captain.

hey matt @... i bet you're a kiwi.lol XDanyways, I personally did not like it at all....come on be a sport, play fair.Dan looked like a footballer to me in that occasion.I really like Gregan, he is one of my role models.

stop hating on the all blacks..jealously is not cool eh. i know i speak for whole of new zealand when i say im sick of hearing the rest of the rugby world winging and crying about the all blacks "cheating"..its called winning. the all blacks are the BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD. and yes im expecting to hear everybodys only comeback these days.. "how many world cups"? how about unbeaten at home since 2003. dan carter tripped gregan and got pinged..that aint cheating. cheating is pinching every kiwi who can pass a rugby ball to make the euro teams at least half decent.

aww c'mon, nobody can say nzers doesn't deserve their success but nobody can deny they've been the first to explore the limits of the rules..it's called being pro nowadays. a lot of other teams are doing th same now, you just got smart before and are paying a little with jokes bout you

Dan Carter is probably the most gifted and the very best first five in the world.
