wen carter kicked to strettle,(second tackle) tuitavake tackles strettle n then lifts his leg into the air (wen he stood up) and drove it bak into the ground. wat a twat, that could of pulled strettle's quads or sumin n ended his tour. new zealanders are always a bit like that , think tana umanga n some one else's tackle on brian o driscol in the 05 lions.....

Some nice tackles, e played well that day but i think Haskell was accidentally tripped and was on his way down when Tuitavake hit him. And is he allowed hold on to Strettles legs like that as mentioned above ?

basically he is allowed to do that as long as he doesn't hold on for too long. most of the tackle laws use the word 'immediately'. and the tackler must immediately release the tackled player IF they both go to ground. if the tackler is on his feet he can make an attempt to gain possession of the ball and the tackled player must release it. in this scenario, tuitavake gets up immediately having made the tackle and is holding strettle A - to stop him getting up, B - to drag him closer to the touch line and C - to manouevre himself and strettle into a better position for him to make an attempt for the ball. strettle pulls his legs back down towards him and this looks like tuitavake is pushing them downwards. all good clean competition as i see it. also as someone asked earlier, the reason he doesn't play more for the all blacks is that the last two matches have been the first 2 caps of what will hopefully be a long career - he's just starting out basically. It'll be interesting to see what happens when rokocoko is fit again.... sivivatu seems to be a massive favourite with graham henry so will tuitavake get dropped? or will conrad smith move to the bench and tuitavake to outside centre with roks on the wing?

Great defense...he was a man posessed in thta game.England much like Ireland were not creative enough with posession in the backs and just generally on attack.In todays game if your line is flat and you simply pass it through the hands the last two passes will always be hospital passes and the chances of scorring are none unless a defender come up out of the line to create a hole...

@Big BoyHe runs the hundred around the same time as Mils the full back, in about 10.9 which is pretty impressive when big Ant hit strettle i though he was going to break his leg when he was pullin itI hope that answers your question.

most pro rugby players won't even know their 100m times because they never ever do it in training. the all blacks time themselves over 10m and 40m - before the last world cup, toeava was fastest in the team over 10m and rokocoko was fastest over 40m.looking at tuitavake and mils i'd say tuitavake faster over 10m for sure then i reckon it would be closer but he'd still win overall over 40m

That last tackle must have injured one of the two. To be fair Haskell is hard as nails, he took that hit on the side of the head.

You English fans are absolute prats for thinking there is any malice in Tuitavake's tackles!! Seriously, he aimed up and destroyed whatever was in front of him, to keep bringing up the O'Driscoll 'INCIDENT' is simply petty! GET THE HELL OVER IT!!!

u english fans are pathetic! if noon,etc made those hits u'd be all smiles ! great tackling by Tuitavake especially on Haskell whose a complete idiot and needed a smack to bring him back down to earth - the big headed idiot !
