I didn't spot the props punch until the slo-mo at the end, that's nasty. You've got to feel sorry for Mortlock and Horwill then, similar to the clip a few weeks back of a punch thrown in league, the captain just can't believe the penalty is against his team. It would have been nice to see some revenge from Mortlock ala Thomas/Barnes, is that clip around anywhere by the way? It keeps getting taken down.

As a Frenchman, I find this kind of behaviour an absolute disgrace. We have had a lot of problems with fighting in our domestic leagues lately, notably on the part of Biarritz players...Harinordoquy, Thion, Couzinet...I don't understand why those people still get selections. Anyway it has got to stop and I would support a longer suspension. I don't understand the point of those summer tours anymore, either. Isn't it possible to wait two more weeks to let us have our best team available? While France played australia, Toulouse played Clermont in an amazing final, with great rugby and NO fights. stuart barnes is a bit of a twat but hes summarised this guy pretty well before - nicknaming him Harinordonkey. before everyone goes crazy, if you listen to the video the commentators also say Elsoms throwing the punches, and you can say so many punches being thrown by different players, aussies and french. im sure when they threw these punches they all aimed to hurt their opponents, its just Harinordoquy made contact. all these guys were involved, and i think the commentators said mortlock was laughing at his eye.this stuff happens, dont be so soft about it rugby players are all tough guys, especially no need to start racially abusing the french.

Pointless test matchs...when Australia comes to France in November and when we get our 1st team out, the game will look completely different I'll tell you that.
