I think Norman Jordaan the 9 is in the wrong sport, 2 hits and 2 players on the floor - disgraceful yes but also impressive boxing!

Harldy would call that boxing. Running around hitting fellas who are not looking cause they are breaking up the fight is nothing short of cowardly (#9). Thats the caliber of "tough" I would expect from NBA brawl. Anyone who would call this a good display of boxing Im certain would do the same. Stand toes with a man, give a few, maybe take a few, but no sucker punches.

I'm french and I can tell you that the whole stade is swearing at Roncero after the brawl. "Roncro encul !" wihich means "Roncero fucker or asshole!". Not very smart from rugby supporters.

I certainly think the reds were justified in this incident, despite both props protesting "rouge??" A bit of argy bargy is a good way to relieve tension in a game and allow the game to settle down into good rugby, but to carry it on after its all been settled is just stupid. I hope im not the only one who feels that the number 9 deserves some form of heavy punishment for his role in the brawl, not only did he go looking for a scrap, he went looking for a scrap with players who werent involved and werent facing him, something which i consider completely against the gentlemanly notion of the sport. Very efficiently handled by the ref though, well done him.

Toulon were not robbed, sure the parisiens played a rather boring strategy of drop kicking everthing.But each time toulon had a good chance of a try they got a penalty against them for stamping or some other stupid foul. As for the brawl: Toulon have always been known for the agressivity of their team and supporters. The only time i ever saw a fight inbetween supporters was at toulon for a friendly!!! against narbone.Love the way roncero falls over withs his legs and arms in the air.And am i the only one to think that jerry collins's booking was a bit harsh?

I'm french, sorry for my poor english.I feel myself ashamed with such events. French rugby is going worse every year, following soccer way...First, money arrives, then foreign players because clubs wanna win immediatly and they don't want to "waste" time to bring young french players (how many french high level props is there today ? None, except some old dinausors). Then again guys like Guazzinni (i don't care how to write it) and Boudjellal came. They're putting so much pressure on players and coachs, that they're becoming nervous cause they know that they can be fired at every moment if they fail to win a match. Boudjellal and others like him are also opening too much their mouth in the medias, saying shit every time they can, to bring new fans in their stadium; gays, hooligans and others. Concerning Toulon supporters, i can't understand that people like that come to see a rugby match, they are in the wrong stadium. They're assholes, they're even worse that many soccer supporters. What's next, supporters or plyers attacking the referee ? Just wait for a while...I'm afraid that it's the way that Northern Hemisphere rugby will work in the futur, a copy of soccer : big money, no formation, big clubs who comes before national duty, and big bastards who think that the world is their and taht everything can be done with money.Toulon, Stade Franais (specially created for Parisian gays who loves watching rugbymen) are a shame for the entire rugby. I don't really know what to think of this brawl..On one hand I can't help siding with any team who is against stade franais (not only for the team in itself but also for their fucking gay calendar and the jersey that goes with it) but on the other I wonder why most of toulon players look like they belong to a boxing scene in the movie snatch. But no matter what you think of such scraps in rugby game, all this does not really look professional..

Its always happening in French Rugby and the fans LOVE it!As for the whole Stade jersey, and Gay calendar thing, its all a joke.Rugby is the dominant sport in the south of France and they have always joked that Paris is a gay city and that Stade are a gay team. So for the laugh Stade brought in the Pink away jersey, and brought out a rather risk calendar. It has somewhat spiralled though with all three of their jerseys being really gay looking now.

I don't mind the odd fight, infact i quite enjoy the occassional fisty cuffs.The french however do seem to have a knack for being a bit trigger happy so to speak. In that 2 players can't even have a slight disagreement without their team mates charging in swinging punches.To be honest though, can't complain at Stade getting knocked down a peg or two, several, infact.
