Best tries of the Top 14 - Round 6

Best tries of the Top 14 - Round 6

As the weekend winds down, it's time to catch up on some of the top tries scored in the Top 14 last weekend. We've featured this short package a few times already, and in all honesty, it's a mixed bag, but usually throws out a few great bits of action which make it well worth the watch.

The best of Round 6 was no different, as the top sides around the country once again produced some fine examples of running rugby at it's best. The tries on display feature a nice mix of local and foreign talent, making it all the more interesting for neutral rugby fans.

Young French flyer Alexis Palisson of Brive scored a fantastic try which came in at number seven in the top ten, while Byron Kelleher once again got on the scoresheet for Toulouse. We also get to see that great Mark Gasnier try for Stade Francais once again.

Enjoy the clip, and feel free to let us know your thoughts on the order, and whether you think the top three picks in particular were accurate.

This week's Nalaga's try (what would be a Top14 week without a Nalaga try ? lol) was even better, with a HUGE stiff arm on JF Coux.

About the order, unfortunately rugbydump aren't gonna be able to do much because it's Canal+, but I think the 3rd try by Montpellier deserves to be first, there have gotta be like 6-7 passes there, great running rugby by forwards mainly. Otherwise as a regular Top 14 watcher I'm more than pleased to see these videos on rugbydump, keep it up, the Top 14 this year is so much more intense and teams are so much more equal on many levels, making it more interesting.

I must admit, I was much more entertained and impressed with the selection of this week's top 10. i criticised last week's clip for being underwhelming (which I still think it is), but I'm more than happy to admit this week's was better. I think this week showed better lines by the backs, stronger runs (not just weak tackles) and better set pieces. Would like to see more of it.-Granite (still having log on difficulties)

Some of those tries are really, really good showing off a lot of personal brilliance, but a lot of those tries were just a result of bad defense.

I can't wait to see round 7, Another great Nalaga try to see, and Andy Goode's wrok for Brive (7 tries this week end).Half the tries were unimpressive. I agree with v99 on this. The Montpellier one is great, it's not the first one they score like this this season. Great style!

It hurts to say it but it looks like top14 is the most impressive championship in the world now.
