Wales take on the Crossbar Challenge
Its been a while since weve featured a Crossbar Challenge here on RD, so this week weve got one for you, even though its slightly different to what youre used to.
In this clip we see the original form of the Crossbar Challenge, as the Welsh rugby team make an appearance on Soccer AM, attempting to hit the top of the goal post with a football.
As you can see in the clip, fun was had by all, with many of the Welsh players showing the fun side of their characters. There are notable appearance by Andy Powell the warrior, Alun-Wyn Jones the workhorse, and midfield maestro Paul Scholes.
Kicking a football is clearly different to kicking a rugby ball, as many of them get it hopelessly wrong. Its all good fun though.
Stephen Jones, for those of you wondering, recited the longest welsh word, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch . It's also the longest domain name in existence actually. Nice easy one to remember.

Gavin Henson is such a humourless, self-centred (no pun intended) tosser. God I hope he doesn't go on the Lions tour, there's no way he's a team player. Granted, he can play a bit, but the other Lions will kill him before the Springboks get a chance.......the others seemed like good blokes, even though they can't kick....

WTF Kerivoula Henson didnt even do anything and you bash him? The guy cant win at all, and im not even a fan.So where was Shane Williams, he used to play football at some point i thought.Powell lol.

They should go around to the top ten countries in the world and do this. Scott Quinnell should do his aswell with them.I'd love to see him go to munster.theyre the biggest messers in world rugby by a country mile.

Notice how when everyone else shanked it there was massive jeering and laughing and when Henson duffs it there is complete silence. It's clear that he has no banter with any of the lads and they pretty much hate him!

henson and jones should at least be able to get it on target, its so much easier to kick a football straight than a rugby ball!

Ryan Jones getting pants'd in the beginning and of course Powell being Powell.Good stuff, it would be great to see this with even more international teams. I'd imagine the French would be pretty funny.

It's funny that people are suggeting Henson has no banter with his team mates. He's out with them in Bridgend ans Swansea all the time, even during off season.

I dont know why people keep giving henson sh*t, he is an extremely gifted player and people should stop letting jealousy take over. I really dont see what he did wrong in that clip. I hope he goes on the lions and shows all of you doubters how good he is.And who ever said andy powell isn't that big for a no8 needs to stop staring into thier computer, get out of the house and step into the real world!!

A) It looks like Henson was cut off which leads me to believe he said something inappropriate for tvb) He is still a twatc)Powell is Big compared to me and you, but he is small compared to international No.8's. Doesnt mean he isnt goodd)Def. agree... Make Munster next X-bar challange

I've tried like 20 times to follow along with Stephen Jones when he says that massively long Welsh word, and I've realised that its impossible. That's probably the craziest word ever, and it has 4 'l's in a row in the middle. That doesn't even make sense, haha.Love the vid though, and I think its pretty much impossible to draw any real conclusions about Gavin Henson's relationship with the Welsh team from it...

andy powell cracks me up!! i personally think he would liven up a night out by just being the tank he is, yeh so what he is ripped, you cant hate a guy cos he is pleased he is ripped, the end of the day its not like he didnt work for it, with all the drugs testing nowadays least you know he did it legitimately (i hope, otherwise you guys will make me look like a tool!)
