The School of Hard Knocks - Episodes 1 & 2

We've got something slightly different for you today as we bring you the first two episodes of season two of The School of Hard Knocks, featuring Will Greenwood and Scott Quinnell.
The show takes mislead or disadvantaged youths and introduces them to rugby in an effort to give their lives more meaning, teach them some valuable lessons, and most of all, put a smile on their faces.
Through the experience of former Lions players Greenwood and Quinnell, as well as their coach Chris, these young lads will be put through the paces as they train hard in preparation for a match against a strong local side.
Disciplinary issues, injuries, and smoking before and after practice, can these boys get out of the doom and gloom of everyday life and find enjoyment and success on the rugby field? Well follow the series and see exactly how theyre transformed over time.
Feedback: Hopefully you enjoy this fascinating series, and while we're yet to see the outcome of what takes place, we're wondering if you have a similar story to tell. Has rugby helped you or someone you know overcome hardship in the same way as we see here?

Similarly to the videos from the 97and 2001 lions dvds which are just ripped from the discs, surely you could at least say that it came from a DVD and if you want to watch it all you can buy it or something?
Whilst I love the site, i feel now you are taking credit for things which you haven't made. Unless you now have a deal with Sky and have the rights to these clips, in which case i apologise and take back what i've said. Does anyone else share my view?

Im not going to have a chance to see top14, or super14 or much of guinness premiership, so this for me is a fantastic way to keep in touch, and I think it is the same for a lot of people who come to this site.

The whole point of this site is to share top notch rugby clips with those fans who might enjoy them. Perhaps a credit is needed occasionally, but I think as jonmac says, it is blatantly obvious that RD arent pretending that they made them.. and any fool can see when a vid is made by sky etc.
Maybe spend more time in front of your tv and watch your expensive sky subscription then david.. or perhaps check the site only once a week then.. I dont know, but as for the the rest of us, we'll continue to enjoy everything RD does for the global rugby community, by sharing the love for the game as they do.
I didnt see this on the rugby club.. so, I enjoyed it. sorry you didnt david. but thanks RD, as always.

A blog by defintion comments on events whether it be news or the arts, most link to video content hosted via YouTube or other video sharing sites without being the sole copyright holder. The host of the video is responsible for copyright, not the blogger.
If these two particular clips were not uploaded and shared here, viewers from outside of the British isles would be unable to view what is a decent albeit small segment of a long rugby show.
The feature is a great idea, a way to get people into rugby who wouldn't normally bat an eyelid at the sport and using the basic fundemntals including teamwork and respect it might just help turn them into better human beings. Maybe you can book a place on next seasons show?

TBH these companies would be mad to make a fuss, they get some fantastic free advertising out of it. In particular the Sky features from Rugby Club make the programme look ace.

I'd love to know where to get those tourneys also. Its tough to watch rugby here in the states. W/regards to the show: good premise and it seems like a proactive way to keep troubled youths from falling back to their old ways.

2nd of all, to those of you who do not see the value of this program, especially to these kids who obviously lack a solid platform to compete in life, you are fools. Perhaps you come from a privielged background where your schooling was paid for and you had a solid family. My bet is most these kids didn't and the fact that these men are giving them the chance to believe in themselves is fantastic.
Regarding the derogatory comment about the kid crying, it is a shame you see the world through such negative eyes. I rewinded the clip just to see the kid bemoan that he would not be able to play week. The pain of not playing hurt him just as much as the injury. This is something I can appreciate. It s great to see that kid appreciate that too.
