Did O'Gara have a bad game? I saw the very beginning when he gets run over a few times (by Contepomi and Heslip I think) and then the interception (although that was also great game reading by O'Driscoll). Just a bit worried for the Lions tour if the little I saw of O'Gara's game reflects his whole match (I'm not saying he's a bad plaayer so nobody start barking at me)

have to say in the darcy try i always thought O'Driscolls pass to necewa was slightly forward. even seeing it for the first time during real time....

munster are a spent force, hayes, horan, quinlan, stringer are all past it. earls will be a good player but he has a lot to learn and is nowhere near international class yet, it's a disgrace that he is on the lions ahead of d'arcy. it will certainly shut every munster fan up, thank god.

Amazing heiniken cup this year so far. ROG is too inconsistent for a test place atm but hes got plenty of warm up games to show everyone what he can do. How earls made the tour ahead of d'arcy is a complete mystery.

Leinster really got tactics spot on. Get at ROG early on and exposing Mafi for always going for the big hit and overcommiting. Great result for Irish rugby and for the competition in my opinion.

thank god it was ROG chasing O'Driscoll, both having lost a bit of pace. quality match. this weekend is the best advertisement for rugby yet.

Check out Sexton after the first try to ROG its exactly 16 seconds into the clip, Darcy touchs down for the first try and all the Leinster players run over to congratulate him and Sexton just runs over and screams in ROGs face,

Funny to see people are saying munster are a spent force, after the ospreys game everyone was calling them the best club in europe. On the day Leinster were the better team, completly dominated Munster, fair play to them. But Munster have prooved themselves to be the most consistent team in Europe, it wasnt our day. ROG will bounce back from this bad performance as he always does. Also these clips dont show Earls linebreaks, he didhave a poor game defensivly though. Rocky Elsom should be the man of the match.. if you watch the game from the beginning.. just count how many important tackles he made and how many turnover he done.. absolutely enormous.. and his linebreaks early on the game was magnificent..
but BOD finish the game off by his interception try.. not much on the first half except a pass to nacewa which is consequently to D'Arcy try..

What that clip has to do with Sexton running over and screaming directly in O Garas face after the first Leinster try is beyond me.

Fla BOD Darcy and O Gara are playing on opposing teams so no one will mind the bust ups as they are part n parcel of the game, but that little piece i pointed out with Sexton just looks childish and pathetic.

I noticed the Sexton incident too and I think I'm goin to agree with Kenny on this one... and I'm another Leinster man. Sexton just comes across as a tosser - and in fairness to ROG I don't think he'd have screamed in anyone's face just after they'd scored a try. Also, I don't think you can compare this to the time O'Gara jumped the advetising hordings in the '06 semi's - if Sexton had just done that then I wouldn't be so pissed off.

I don't even mind if a player is arrogant - just so long as he backs it up.... like Rog for example... 2 HCs and a grand slam. If Sexton can do that in the next 7years then I'll eat my words. And I hope I do because he's a very decent prospect for us. For now though he should concentrate on cementing the no 10 jersey at Leinster coz winning the Schools Cup and owning a pair of pink boots isn't really going to cut it.

Won't write off Munster just yet. A big club like Munster who compete at all front is bound to suffer a dip at some stage. You can draw parallel with Leicester last season and look at where the Tigers are now.
Let's not forget, Munster have banked the Magners League.

As a Munster fan, who will support Leinster in the final, it saddens me to see the OTT glee that Leinster fans have in beating us.
Yes there are Munster fans who are obnoxious, but only because (a) we now have so many bandwagon fans, and (b) because if our team wins, of course we would celebrate.
Leinster fans' glee is also a reflection of their past failures. The very SAME as it was for Munster fans until 2006, remember.
There are just as many obnoxious Leinster fans as Munster fans, but for both teams, it's a small proportion.
Rugby still retains a great camaraderie (just look at the mixed crowd), and let's not forget that.

I know Munster didn't have the greatest game but 1:50 is one of the many reasons that O'Connel is Lions captain. He didn't back down at all from that one and that is what we need to take on the South Africans.

Its amazing how leinster fans cant show any grace in victory. Sum of the abuse is ridiculous especially by leinsterlion. Munster are still the better team given their record in the history of the heineken cup but leinster destroyed them on the day and deserved the win. But still need to understand that munster are modest, not arrogant and are one of the best rugby teams in European rugby, proven time and again
