Top 14 Tries of the Season Compilation
The championship produced some excellent rugby this season, as we saw big players from around the world converge on France, joining up with their new clubs and having a crack at being the top side in the country.
In some cases just avoiding relegation was the goal, as was seen with Tana Umagas side Toulon, who themselves scored some great tries this season.
This next season is already shaping up to be another intriguing one, as the big spenders have pulled in more big names. Jonny Wilkinson, Sebastien Chabal, Francois Steyn, and a whole host of players will be joining clubs across the country.
Some great tries were scored this season, as were covered randomly here on RD, but now that it's all over, we have this excellent tries compilation for you that makes one appreciate just how enjoyable the Top 14 can be.
Its pretty long for a compilation, but thoroughly enjoyable as we see the best the season had to offer in nine minutes of classic rugby action. Enjoy.

One guy spent a lot of time making this vid you fucktard. I'm sorry Clermont ate its own poop once again this year in the final but just stop complaining and if you're not happy with this one, make your own video.
He made a video of the most beautiful tries. The fact that Nalaga scored alot has nothing to do with his tries being beautiful or not.
Allez les jaunards arrtez de chialer maintenant!

excellent video compilation from guetteba. Thks man! Great actions and many team tries. Ouedraogo's try is surely the best one.
But the "new-age-medieval" soundtrack is a bit annoying.. lol

I watch a lot of Top14 because of the influx of SH players there, but im more impressed with the homegrown talent. I just think that the SH players are not suited to the league and i cant seem to get any atmosphere watching th games
To Tehsniper
Im entitled to my own opinion you thick c**t, what business is it of yours to say im a disgrace to all kiwis you maladjusted turd
Great video again,RD coming up with some crackers recently
The only NH League i like is the Magners.

Marco June 12, 2009 10:16 pm

Just cause the frogs beat the crap out of you in the WC doesn't entitle you to despise their league.
It might not have been the best this year in the NH but it is still awesome. The atmosphere in those games is something you will never experience in your third world country stadiums filled with 1000 fans tops.
You have obviously never watched any top 14 game but you are anti-french like alot of kiwis.
I lived in Christchurch for two years so don't tell me I don't know any kiwi.
Anonymous June 13, 2009 8:07 am

Well the game isn't yet, but come on the All Blacks were quite ridiculous at the beginning !
Talking about atmosphere, I doubt you ever watched a game taking place in Bayonne, their homecrowd is just amazing. When I watch S14, very often the stands are half empty (or half full depending on your philosophy :) ), at least in Top 14 the stadium is always >90% full

France won playing positive rugby too, great to watch, especially the terrible tackling on the 2nd French try.
ToulouseFan June 13, 2009 11:34 am

LOL, totally agreed
tehsniper June 13, 2009 11:59 am

Busy figuring out how players from the worst league in the world beat players from the best one?
AllBlackJack June 13, 2009 4:42 pm

who are the top 3 teams in the world??? what nations are involved in the Super 14??
Marco - I've never claimed better atmoshpere or crowds in the Super14 you freak, so where did you get that basis, i DONT LIKE THE SHIT RUGBY IN TOP14!
Anonymous June 13, 2009 5:57 pm

World rankings. So true it is, I think today we had a good view of the world rankings at Dunedin.
Merja June 14, 2009 9:56 pm

No, Nalaga hasn't played for Fiji yet, he played with the Pacific Highlanders and was redcarded for a late hightackle on Elissalde against France
