Nicky Robinson caps a great debut with a try against Bath
Welsh flyhalf Nicky Robinson was outstanding on the day as he looks to be one of the smartest signings yet in the Premiership juggling of players thats gone on.
It was a league debut that he capped with a late breakaway try, fittingly for the player who was the star performer of the day, scoring 14 points in total.
"Nicky has got a reputation for being a calm and tactically aware player. He has been unlucky with Wales.
"I thought he controlled the game well. On a percentage basis, I thought he was outstanding, said Gloucester head coach Bryan Redpath.
The 27 year old moved across from Cardiff Blues, and after yesterdays performance, gained the respect and admiration of the Shed-Heads with his master-class showing.
James Simpson-Daniel also gave the locals something to cheer about, as he scored two tries against Bath, who had a troubled off season that was shrouded in controversy.

On a more positive note once Olly Barkley and Nicky Little get up and running i think we'll perform a lot better. Salvi also looked like a useful replacement for Lipman.

After tormenting Gloucester last season for the Blues, looks like he's becoming a popular player in Gloucester!

E.F.S was also very good, like Attwood, Strokosch and to an extent when Qera came on.
Full highlights would be very much appreciated.

Who thinks James Simpson Daniel or Matthew Tait would start for the AllBlacks over Conrad Smith?????
I understand that Conrad is a kiwi and James and Matt are English, but who thinks they're better.
And if so why aren't they starting for England over the Boring Mike Tindall and Jamie Noon.

I'd say no, Smith is brilliant at 13, tait and JSD can cover outside centre, but they're not natural players. Therefore, i can't consider them seeing they're not natural replacements.
TAIT IS WAY TOO MUCH OVERATED!!!!!!

Conrad Smith is a very good player but difficult to judge as Tait has had such a interrupted England career. Conrad Smith too for that matter has obviously not been a regular starter for the All Blacks in the past.
