Best Tries of the Top 14 - Round 17
Castres continued their fine form as they beat Albi comfortably, with Joe Tekori scoring a nice try as he ran from about the halfway line before bashing aside a hapless defender. Cameron Mcintyre also crossed for a fine try, following a great build up by Phil Christophers.
Racing Metro's winning streak came to an end at the hands of Bourgoin, who beat them 18-17 despite Jonny Leo scoring a nice try after some good handling. Lock Camille Levast then scored for Bourgoin after some nice hands by his fellow forwards.
Iain Balshaw scored for Biarritz as they beat Montpellier 26-10, showing once again that the move to France has reinvigorated him as a player.
The top try on this list is handed to Alexis Palisson for Brive as they thumped reigning champions Perpignan 29-9.
We aren't able to get these clips for you always, so please bear in mind that if you yourself are able to watch, edit and upload, then your contributions are welcomed with open arms.
On a sidenote, we've come across this very catchy web based rugby game from O2 called Chargy Bargy . Just by playing, you can win some great prizes including an all expenses paid trip to Rome to watch England play Italy in the Six Nations. Check it out here now .

And stop the stupid jokes about Gareth Thomas, it's childish and not funny.

You're the greedy one, you want something great for nothing and then resent the people doing all the work for getting a little return.
A few ads are no problem RD if it keeps the rugby vids coming.

Perhaps the answer to Englands woes is to send all their players to France for a decent rugby education.

They helped the competition a lot though cos the top14 is really really tough now. No team is clearly ahead of the others and each side is very difficult to win.
I think the level of the championship unfortunately prevents our top teams from playing their best during the ERC, they seem to start enjoying the ERC once their national goal is reached (cynically it is often being... European, or on the tracks for the quarters, or sure of not being relegated). Add to this the 6N being played while the top14 is going on, you can understand why it's difficult even for the biggest squads.
Playing at this time of year can explain the relatively poor level of the tries: temperature is 0C and the pitches are frozen.

I'm just saying, the poker ads are a. obnoxious and b. the page takes a couple seconds longer to load up.
PS: I never click on ads. In fact, if one advert does interest me, I'd rather Google it/the product, so a site (not necessarily this one) doesn't get money. 'Cause I'm selfish like that.

Then go away, ya dork.

Unfortunately, Stade won out through Beauxis' dead-aim boot. I really hope Michalak's days as a fly-half for France are numbered - he is about as unreliable at kicking penalties as Jonny Wilkinson is at not getting injured.

I agree; what a twat. Some of us can't see rugby on television, being as we don't live in a major rugby nation.

The site makes some $25-30 a day. I would hardly call trying to make some more money from all the effort put into keeping the site going being "greedy". I don't necessarily like the Pokerstars background, but who the hell am I to complain?

And Geordie, people say the French play good rugby because actually they really play good rugby! And that's why France is 5th in the IRB rank! If they played bad they'd be 6th like England or 8th like Wales for example... And half of the tries in this clip are scored by french players...
So finally your comment really shows how frustrated and jealous you are of not having in your contry such an exciting championship as the Top14 can be!

btw, Yachvili could invite Cusiter to his tea parties. I've always wondered how Cusiter manages to pass: grab the ball, step, prepare the pass aaand send a text message and pass.

What are you, dense?
Buddy, that's exactly my point. RD added a way to make revenue; as in BEFORE the background ad, they were not making much at all.
