London Irish stunned by the Scarlets
The Exiles had a 22-10 lead which they blew as two second half tries from flanker Rob McCusker and two from Jon Davies set up the thrilling win for the home side.
London Irish now need a bonus-point win against Pool Six rivals Leinster this coming Saturday night at Twickenham.
"It was deja-vu, let's be honest about it," London Irish coach Toby Booth said.
"We're pretty disappointed by the unforced error count. We didn't take the opportunities that we crafted for ourselves. At 22-10 up, you expect to close the game out.
We had glorious opportunities to put the game to bed and we didn't take them."
At Twickenham, London Irish will need to deny Leinster any points, as well as grab a five-point haul themselves if they wish to progress as group winners.

shocking finish from the irish. i thought they had control of the game. poor decision not to go for posts and put themselves 3 scores clear. it may have worked out that they would have still lost, but poor decision.

when do you have to kick?
provided of course your kicker can make the kick:
when you're tied
when your'e down by 1, 2, or 3
when the kick will push you ahead a score, for example: youre up by 6, opposition can still beat you with a converted try, so you kick, make it 9 so that even if they can score a converted try they have to score again, its a strong psychological tool that they should have used at 12 to make scarlets have to score three more times. granted they did that, but it could have kept irish's momentum.

A close match and a bit of a comeback doesn't mean good rugby was played.
Both teams can be great on their day, and no doubt will be many more times this season, but these highlights were less interesting that watching my 9 year old play rugby on playstation.

If you don't use a name say nothing at all! How about that one!?!?
This isn't facebook! It isn't Barney either! Its not a place where people only say nice things about particular games - its a place where people communicate honestly, and sometimes also with their understandable favourite team bias, about games.
As it happens, I did say that the two teams are usually better. However I didn't say it because I wanted to be nice. I said it cos its true.

He and Monye would be an incredible combo on the wings for England.

I couldn't believe it though that he failed to finish either of those chances in the first test against South Africa. They were relatively simple finishes to make and certainly the one where he had the ball under the wrong arm was poor skills. He is a good player and much faster than your average Northern Hemisphere winger but he is also fallible. Nevertheless should do well on the wing for England if they can get him the ball in any space, no sign of that any time soon though with England!

No sooner had I asked the q about Ojo, when I hear he's back playing tomorrow (or today if your following the time of the post, I'm 2 hrs behind). Combined shoulder and knee injuries are the reason for his lay off I believe.
