Toulouse dominate Glasgow at frosty Firhill Park
Toulouse beat hosts Glasgow Warriors 28-16 in what was ultimately a comfortable win for the defending champions on a freezing night in Glasgow. They missed out on a bonus point though after failing to capitlise on their 25-16 halftime lead.
"We had a very good first half, but the second half was all about frustration," said Toulouse scrumhalf Byron Kelleher.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to perform to the maximum."
In the first half Glasgow produced a fantastic piece of play as wing Dth Van De Merwe chipped and regathered before offloading for Max Evans to put a deft kick through which Federico Aramburu claimed to go over.
Toulouse weren't to be outdone though as Kelleher snatched a ball off the back of a scrum and darted downfield before linking with the backs who eventually set up Cedric Heymans for a superb counter attacking try.
The win is the third out of three for Toulouse in this years Heineken Cup campaign.

We (Glasgow) totally lack the required agression to be really competitive - they stood off the contact rather than smashing everything that moved - very frustrating.
In saying that John Barclay was again showed he is the best openside in the NH - and Richie Gray is fast becoming one of the best 2nd rows too, some positives at least?!
At times it was men v boys, but hopefully we can man up next week and make us proud.

their reaction at the end of the match summarize a lot Guy Noves philosophy. 4 H cup won but he still want more from his players.
that said, lievremont should install the black&red backs for the next 6 nations and RWC

Agree the ref had a shocker, but in the end that would only have made a difference if Glasgow were capable of converting their chances and therefore could havewon with a different ref, which i doubt they would have!
Still, at least it was more than respectable score against te best team in Europe. Considering the players who have left and are injured, i reckon a few seasons back we'd have lost this by 50, so some credit is perhaps deserved.
Also, what is it about Max Evan's boot v Toulouse???
Last time we played them (in Toulouse 2009 when we won 26-33) he put boot to ball 3 times and we scored 3 tries! Once again here, our only try came from a Max Evans kick. Yet normally when he kicks it against anyone else it's usualy aimless and pointless! lol!
