Republic of Telly - An Anthem for Rugby
It's a viral video which serves as an ad for a comedy show on Irish television called The Republic of Telly on tv station RTE. It features the comedy group Dead Cat Bounce, as they do their take on the sport of rugby.
The skit includes former Ireland international hooker Shane Byrne, along with former Kiwi rugby player and current tv pundit and host, Brent Pope.
I'm sure we all know the saying ' If we can't laugh at ourselves, then what can we laugh at? ' That pretty much sums up this video, and the reason I'm posting it. So while it makes a mockery of rugby and hints at other activities underfoot, it's all in good fun and is worth checking out.
If you're a tad homophobic and struggle with that kind of humour, rather don't watch.

Leave it to the Irish to come up with something so ridiculous.
"Getting grabbed at by enormous men...in shorts!"

The only exceptions to my all-round enthusiasm that I can think of are this pile of manure and that contrived piss that was the All Blacks trick shot thing.
Or maybe I'll just try and cheer the **** up!

I think that's what comes off as negative about your posts - for this video anyways.

Right on!! I love being a hooker, having those big second rows right near my bum just does it for me!
Me and my brother love the whole shower thing after rugby!!! You have to get naked otherwise you're gay!

I'm sure it included bad language or was insulting in some way. There's a few others who dont like it, and their comments are still here, so it must be that.
