School Of Hard Knocks 2011 - Episode 2

School Of Hard Knocks 2011 - Episode 2

The first episode of this year's School of Hard Knocks seems to have gone down quite nicely here, so rather than delay things further, this is the second episode of the thoroughly watchable rugby show.

In episode one we were introduced to the show as they did some recruitment for players, which wasn't as straight forward as they'd have thought. In fact it was quite a challenge at times. This week, in episode 2, we learn a bit more about some of the personal stories behind the players.

A visit to see Mark Prince turns out to be quite inspirational for many of the guys, as it was last year when Prince was visited in his boxing studio. This time it's more about the talk, but he also pushes them to their limits with some work outs and a motivational chat that proves to be life changing for many of the troubled youngsters.

One of the highlights of the show is when some of last year's participants return to give a talk on how staying in the program turned out to be one of the best things that has happened to them, with things turning around in their lives, including now playing rugby regularly.

I personally reckon, and think they should work some more on "Michelle /Mikey",and develop him even more. He stood out from the very start, winning all the challenges, learning and taking in every lesson, and show some good handling, running,Sidestepping skills!!..He is also determine to advance and improve even more, and would become a VERY good Rugby player, with the right lead, and coaching...I would even say that he would have the Ability to play for top premiership club in the near future,if his age doesn't catch up to him.

RD, could you stick the try up as an individual video. A lot of people will choose not to watch a 40mins+ video and that try deserves to be seen as many people as possible. Inspirational.

Can't watch now, because i'm at work, but all this talk of a brilliant try sounds very promising.

I only recently learned this is the fourth series. I've the last two here on RD (thanks guys!), but is there any way of watching the very first?

Great show. I love Scott Quinell's attitude and enthusiasm.

I'd love to see something similar down here in South Africa. We have so many hopeless communities with so many young men headed for self destruction. This feels like it's made for parts of SA.

Excellent show and program. Did any of the members of season 3 acctually get anywhere with rugby?

They seem to be showing more of the rugby side this year which is nice, rather than just motivational speech after motivational speech, which got a bit boring last year.

Hopefully this years side can go further than last years, who were a bit pathetic really.
