Paul Sackey's two tries for Toulon against Toulouse

Paul Sackey scored twice within a few minutes as Toulon beat top of the table Toulouse 21-9 in their Top 14 meeting in Marseille yesterday. Fellow Englishman Jonny Wilkinson kicked the rest of the points.
It was Toulon's fifth successive win at packed French football champions Marseille's stadium, Stade Velodrome. Thanks to the win, they are now still in contention for a playoff place.
"There is little to say about the first 50 minutes! We just sat back and watched them play," said club president Mourad Boudjellal. "Then the Toulon magic clicked into gear... I think that the unexpected energy of Sackey surprised them," he added.
Sackey scored his first from two bits of pinpoint accuracy, firstly by Wilkinson with a great long pass, and then with the kick ahead that sat up nicely for him to dive on. For his second he somehow got through the Toulouse defence, leaving about four players looking a little confused.
The result leaves Toulon in seventh place, with two tough games to come, against Perpignan and then Montpellier.
Both tries are posted below, as a playlist. The first will play, then the second automatically

Great trys, awesome pass from Wilko for the first. Can't realistically have sackey in the england lineup if we have ashton on that wing? Handy replacement though.

well, actually, I think Sackey would've gotten hammered if Tolouse had needed a win. as it stands, they didn't care at all about that game, as they're already qualified, so everyone on the pitch was more careful as to ending the game uninjured...
Gui Noves himself said before the game that there are games you don't need to win at the end of a season, and there are games you actually need not to give too much efforts to if you want to do well on the important ones that follow, so...

What a crock, if that was the case why didn't they field a B team?

On saturday night in a nightclub, after that game in Marseille, Henson was a little bit drunk, and said he "is the best player in the world" and "Van Niekerk is not a great captain" and blablabla...
By a guy here since 2 months :-D
2 teammates have not appreciate that behavior then... tried to sober him up. :-D

He wants to be known as the worlds best and instead of spending time building on his performance, he has some little thing in his mind telling him its not his fault, so he floats around trying to find a better team where he can show that he is the best in the world....and when they dont play him because he is yet to prove something he quits...he really is a tool in my eyes... and whilst i do not like to wish people harm or no success, i wish this guy would just fucking disappear and get a job working on a building site or something...
He had hundreds of chances to show his worth (and i truly believe he is a player that HAS talent!) yet he has squandered them over and over and in my eyes he does not deserve any more chances...
If he picks himself up and WORKS his way there then ill wait and watch, but until then im waiting for him to actually show something for all his talk!
Sad part is he is too old to do it in time...

What do professional international rugby players do when they retire?
I mean, we all have players in our clubs that are like 40 odd and still go strong and play well. So what do these 30 year old retired guys do?
i know a lot make fame still through charity work and run businesses but do any go and play for the local club? I mean, say Danny Grewcock retires from Bath or something, will he then go to his little retreat wherever and live out his years enjoying retirement doing hobbies? or will he play for the local club on weekends without the strict regime of diet and training etc?
I couldnt imagine packing it all in for good. I know we saw Will greenwood a few months ago playing in a pink jersey at some point, but is that a regular occurence...?

Depends on the person. Some might be sick of rugby after playing it non stop for 15 years - even though that seems like Heaven to us.
Some players would have bodys so battered they won't want to go near a pitch again for a while. BOD and Wilko might be two of these. I doubt they'd pack it in for good, but still.
A lot go for jobs in their clubs acedemys, or apply for coaching roles. Nearly every coach in any professional club in the world was a player at the top level at some point.
Apart from that i'd say the rest of them follow a job they want - they've earnt enough money in rugby to keep them above the breadline for a few years anyway provided they dont spend it all. Most players do medical/sports degrees at the same time. BOD's doing a coaching degree at UCL. Jamie Roberts a medical degree. D'Arcy and Sexton are doing some degree i forget the name of now.
