I think Cipriani's defensive abilities (or lack of) have been found out. Rugby is a physical game, no matter how good the other parts of your game are an inability to tackle and hold on to the ball are pretty hard to overlook...

To be fair to Cipriani (I am no fan let me tell you), his teammates did little to help him out on either try. He was not the only one who missed the tackle against Ranger and then after the ball was stolen from him, his teammates made piss poor efforts to make a tackle.

Pretorius may be the most exciting 9 in the competition, PDV would be smart to blood him in the trinations.

Dagg always looks good.

Ranger is a monster.

What I like about SH rugby is the risk taking that seems to be encouraged. I think that's the main difference. The defense is not any worse and the skills no better, but the attitude seems to be "have a go, if it doesn't work out we'll live with it". It's sad to see even great French teams like Toulouse play so conservatively.

I'm loving the new Super Rugby format. It seems to have breathed new life into the competition. Also the fact that teams previously off the radar like the Highlanders, Reds and Cheetahs are pulling off big wins adds some spice to every game.

Best one has gotta be Benson Stanley's try in Round 10.

In fairness, the weapons in the All Black's arsenal are unbelieveable. Toeva would walk into any team in the world, Dagg & Jane keeping him out. Freuen, Ranger, Stanley, Nonu, Smith, SBW. Crazy talent. New Zealands new greatest export! Their rugby players.

Is John Afoa considered a fringe player for NZ or a core starter? He just seems to have a little sprinkle of class in the loose you don't see in front rows often. Is he considered to be a bit of a lightweight in the tight?

Guilford is the best ball playing winger in the world atm... he is everywhere, he's got a touch in every try. A sure All Black selection for the summer, he's earned it.

Haha you just can't help but love Super Rugby. As someone said, indeed the new format has brought a new air to the competition, all the temas look set to win any match.

And, RIP the Bulls, time for a new generation to step forward! Bjorn Bassong looks classy. And SArel Pretorious HAS to be in the Tri Nations, step aside Ricky Januarie!

And again, the backs Robbie Deans and Graham Henry have at their disposal come World Cup time is just obscene!

Ren Ranger is such a good player with pace , strenght and agility ! Sarel Pretorius is a real try hunter he makes me think to Joost van der Westhuizen ! He may be a the SA surprise for the RWC. I really think that there's a big difference with the north hemisphere in terms of game's vision. I'm french and even a lot of people is according to say that Top 14 is the best competition, i think that Super XV is the most amazing rugby that you can see in the world...

The Army/Navy game attracted twice as many punters as the Crusaders/Sharks game at Twickenham.

The Army must be shit hot at dancing.

Rene Ranger and Hosea Gear are absolute beasts, the pace, size and strength of those boys is frightening.

Also, that cheetahs no.9 is a serious talent, pace pac pace.

Has anyone heard about Nonu going to Montpellier in France?

I heard something about Nonu today. It's a Boudjellal quote during a french tv show responding to Fabien Galthi. He just gives the information that Nonu will come in Montpellier after the RWC. Some french newspapers talks about that but nothing official. It would be huge for Montpellier, i'll go to the stadium every week end if it's confirmed !
