Kevin the Tipster - Wales vs France Semi Final

It's Semi Final weekend at the Rugby World Cup, which means that Kevin the Tipster has been at it again, this time having a crack at the Wales vs France game. Have a look at who he goes for, and check out some of the match odds below.

With things having been split between North and South due to an upset earlier in the tournament, we've got a situation this weekend where only one of the top three sides in the world will make it to the final.

Of course, with those results the rankings will change probably, so that could prove an irrelevant fact. Regardless, it's going to be interesting as two previous World Cup winners meet in one game, and Wales and France meet in the other, both sides looking to rewrite the history books.

The bookies have New Zealand as favourites at 4/6, Australia second favourites at 4/1, then Wales at 5/1 and France at 7/1. The most likely final looks to be New Zealand vs Wales at 11/8, and interestingly referee Craig Joubert is tipped at 1/3 to get the call-up to ref the final.

With kicking usually a key component in finals, James Hook is tipped at 15/8 to get all his kicks, while Dimitri Yachvili is at 9/4. Perhaps a little surprising seeing as Hook hasn't played much lately.

Yachvili cant kick, he's injured, Morgan Parra will replace him for that and he's top class player when it comes to kicking.

Even though france destroyed england last week I still think wales will win.
We're playing with so much passion at the moment and every player is in top form.
Wales to win by 8 points.

There's no way a sheep would pick the French over the Welsh......

I agree a sheep wouldn't pick the French over the Welsh, I was watching a youtube video 8 months back on some welsh video. I made the comment on that video " Wouldn't it be the game of the History of Rugby for Wales to beat New Zealand in the RWC 2011." I had no idea that Wales was in such good form. I'm American and Wales was the team that got me into the game back in 2003 when they played a mighty game agianst the All Black. Since then I have been a huge Irish supporter. But bieng a fan of the underdog, and such a heroic heart of the Welsh, I stand by my blind comment of 8 months ago. Go Wales.

Wales is surely not the underdogs in that game. They're on top form and played very good rugby, it's going to take a lot of this French team to beat them.

France are the underdogs here and it suits them i think, they do need to raise their game and this time they'll have to play for 80min, they can afford an average 2nd half like they've had against England.

We should have a great game.
Allez les Bleus!
