This Taylor bloke looks all right, but has he really taken Dan Carter's 10 shirt off him? Seems extraordinary. What's the reasoning behind that then?

Sticking Carter in midfield because there's a perceived lack of depth/strength there

Carter's place kicking isn't back to 100% yet and, as you can see, Taylor's form is great. Carter played 12 at the start of his career with the Crusaders, so he knows the position.
