haven't been following SH rugby since world cup but why is Dan Carter not taking the kicks?

Because he re aggravated his groin injury suffered in the world cup

I think its some kicking related injury, or long term problem from lots of kicking so he leaves it to Taylor to avoid stress. But im no kiwi
