Thierry Dusautoir's hit on Jordan Crane as Toulouse beat Leicester

It was a big weekend in Europe as the Heineken Cup kicked off with twelve matches, and the Amlin Challenge Cup with ten. We're sifting through the best of what took place to bring you some good clips, but for now here is a nice hit from the French captain.

Four time champions Toulouse were too good for twice winners Leicester Tigers as they claimed a 23-9 victory at home, a win that could yet be crucial in Pool 2 of the tournament.

Teenage centre Gael Fickou caught the eye as he not only scored the game's only try, but looked a fine prospect in his all round play, earning him the man of the match award.

Luke McAlister kicked six penalties, but it was the forwards that made a big difference in the wet conditions, with Thierry Dusautoir leading from the front and number eight Louis Picamoles particularly impressive.

"With the rain falling heavily, it was a really difficult match," said Toulouse coach Guy Noves. "It was tough so I can only congratulate my players for rolling up their sleeves although it was unfortunate that we didn’t score one or two more tries and kill off the opposition."

Both sides had a full go at each other physically, and Dusautoir made one of the biggest tackles of the game as he smashed Jordan Crane, following a particularly unkind pass from Ben Youngs.

We'll have more clips from the Heineken Cup soon. If there is anything in particular you would like to see featured, please get in touch via email or make a post in the requests section.

The whole game was very physical, but man, Dusautoir, year in and year out, just shows how great a captain he is

Well.. yeh.. it was good, but it was fairly average from Dusautoir... but nonetheless it was a good hit. Crane did very well to keep hold of the ball and lay it back. So good effort from both players in this video.

Yes, indeed, Crane did a good job keeping the ball and being passive, just like the rest of his team in that game. Tuilagi was the only spark with two short breaks, but really Leicester did not seem to have any will to win it

Nice one. Despite the fact that he always plays well, he keeps surprising me. Maybe it's because he always seems to look like the nicest bloke on the pitch. Also: you would expect him to be on the bottom of the ruck but he is actually allready on his feet, ready for the next one, when the ball comes out.

By the way: the follow up of the return kick was quite good as well. Good timing, didn't go for the tackle while the player was still in the air and made some good metres.

Gael Fickou looked great in this game and has just been picked by PSA for the November internationals. Look out for him.

Dusautoir's presence and his ability to twist the games is getting greater with every match he plays. He's really the neatest captain. Clean tackles, clean plays, and overwhelming presence. Everywhere he goes, he carries the best aspects and the spirit of rugby, it's great.

Nice timing, but Crane stood no chance, so well done by him and the leicester pack, on this occasion.

Dusatoir does have to be one of the best pure tacklers in rugby, rarely do i see him make one that could be considered questionable.
