Jonny Wilkinson steers Toulon to thrilling victory over Leicester Tigers

Perhaps the clash of the weekend, this one lived up to expectations and ended with a thrilling Jonny Wilkinson special as Toulon beat challengers Leicester Tigers 21-15 at the Stade Felix Mayol.

Despite coming close on two occasions in particular, Toulon were unable to breach the Tigers' defence, but Wilkinson kept the scoreboard ticking over nonetheless, slotting six penalties and a final minute trademark drop goal.

Toby Flood kicked five penalties for Leicester but the might of Toulon's stars, their vocal home crowd, and the Wilkinson factor proved too much.
