There was a lot of talk about world record crowds over the weekend, yet the final was watched by about 10,000 people. On the tv it looked like NZ and Aus were playing to an almost empty stadium. Disappointing.

There was booing in Wellington too I remember (from a vid posted on RD).....is this just a typical thing to happen in sevens? A little unsavoury for my liking!!

Matt, we said in the stadium it looked like double movement, US can feel hard done by there.

And fatherb, the stadium was empty at the end because most English fans left once their team were out. Saturday was much better and I think 70,000 was pretty accurate. The weather and train system probably had something to do with people leaving early too...
