Here's a great bit of skill from Sevens star Pama Fou at training with the Australian 7's side. In a one-on-one training exercise, he produces some kind of reverse, wrong-footed grubber to kick the ball ahead, regather and dot it down for the score. The Wallabies got their tour off to a solid start with a hard fought 40-36 victory over a Barbarians side that refused to give up, and played some attractive rugby. The entire match was played in the spirit of the club, and was one of the best in recent memory. MORE »

Sam Burgess breaks cheekbone in first minute, plays on and wins NRL title

Rugby League star Sam Burgess will be switching to Union to join Bath Rugby in England soon, but this past weekend he had one more League match to play, in the NRL Grand Final. In the opening seconds Englishman Burgess carried the ball up but got a head in the cheek, causing the fracture. It didn't deter him though. MORE »

Female Streaker has no regrets after high shot near miss in Napier

A female streaker who took to the field during the All Blacks' 28-9 victory over Argentina on Saturday was lucky to leave with only a ban after security nearly took her head off. She's since said that streaking was on her bucket list, so has no regrets. MORE »
