The Springboks and Nelson Mandela - RIP Madiba

Well, you know, there are a lot of "saint" in the calendar that burned or killed people, some others "liked" very young kids, others were lords as kind as Joffrey Baratheon...

So, I'm pretty sure Nelson Mandela would be a better saint than most of them.

Dimitri Yachvili carded for swinging arm on Delon Armitage

Yachvili is well known for much more cheats and dirty tricks than Delon, though he's not whistled or criticised everywhere as Armitage actually does.

Of course, that can't be a color thing.

The great Jonah Lomu's Bledisloe Cup Memories

For Jonah's fans I recommend the french Canal Plus documentary
"Jonah : le souffle de la colère"
[ Jonah : wrath's breath ]

It's a great doc, essentially on the uncommon life of Jonah, pointing on the man more than on the player.

The major part of it is in english (subtitles are in french) except french players interviews.

... And for everything he brought to rugby : thanks Mister Lomu, for what it's worth.

Best Tries in the Top 14 2013/2014 - Round 1

The "-th-" does not exist in french.

So "SmiSS" is usually used rather than "smiFF" cause it sounds better, in french, of course.

But sometimes french speakers got problems with french names too !
In the video : both speakers agreed to replace the mouthfull "Jean-François Coux" by a shorter "Jeff".

Toulon play Olympique Marseille in half rugby-half football charity match

He was there but didn't play, resting of a groin injury.

He played Toulon first pre-season trial game yesterday and missed a lot of kicks.
A bit out of rythm.
