That's right, I'm not simple!! ;)

Scott Higginbotham cited twice for knee and head-butt on Richie McCaw

Really stupid, idiotic thing for Higginbotham to do. And unnecessary too - the Wallabies were doing a decent job during the game to not let the ABs get away with their normal crap around the breakdown, and the ref was on to their/McCaw's shenanigans too. He should have kept it clean and legal and let it be whistled in their favour.

I do however find the Kiwi reaction to this kind of stuff pretty amusing. Hansen's comments aside, an NZ newspaper called for an eight-week ban to "protect the best player in the game [from] being battered by hackers and lugs with barely half his ability''. They talk about poor little Richie like he's some national treasure who needs special protection. Come on Kiwis... McCaw's a big boy, he knows exactly what he's doing out there and how much he pushes the boundaries. Usually he gets (legally) pummeled by the opposition for doing what he does, I don't have any problem with that and I'm sure he doesn't either.

The Wallabies hold on for victory over Argentina in Rosario

Gutsy win by the Aussies, really positive to see them battle out a win with their backs to the proverbial wall.

Bryan Habana hat-trick sinks the wounded Wallabies in Pretoria

So they could have subbed Alexander back on (I think he had already been on the field, right?), but could not have brought on Fainga'a off the bench to replace Polota-Nau? All very confusing - now where's my rule book...

Bryan Habana hat-trick sinks the wounded Wallabies in Pretoria

What an absolute clusterf*ck from the Aussies, everything seemed to go wrong. Headless chooks in attack with no semblance of a game plan, with guys like Dom Shipperley proving yet again that they aren't worthy of the gold jersey, too much ball given up through excellent Springboks counter-rucking, and pretty soft all round (surprisingly, the Wallabies scrum notwithstanding). AAC proved himself yet again to be the class he is, putting his body on the line to stop a certain five-pointer - the guy's a legend.

There hasn't been much chat about the ref's decision to not allow the sub onto the field and forcing the Aussies to play 14 on 15 (however endlessly amusing it was to see tubby Ben Robinson toss in the lineouts). I'm not sure of the ruling on this one, if they had used up their subs should they have still been allowed to make it for a front-rower?

Wallabies avoid defeat with come from behind win over Argentina

Not your best highlights reel, Rugbydump... For example, what about the two times the Wallabies went over the goal line but didn't score (I think I read they were in the first half)? I'd be more interested seeing that than a penalty or conversion being kicked!

Midweek Madness - Adam Ashley-Cooper's try saving superman double tackle

I'm a big AAC fan - he's been such a loyal servant to the Wallabies over the years, quite the unsung hero in my mind.

Top 14 Round Two - Best of the weekend wrap-up

Great to see Gits still out there playing some good rugby. Such a shame the ARU gave up on him as a Wallaby when they did! I think they probably regret that now with the backline woes they have.

No surprise to see Cudmore up to his same old dirty tricks again...
