England hang on for win over Italy and Grand Slam opportunity

The only result will be that the teams will make even more faults to avoid tries.
And I think rugby is already complicated enough.

France and Ireland draw for second consecutive year

Poor match, with a little bit of drama at the end.

Concerning the Debaty shoulder strike or not, I think that was a good call by the referee. He put his shoulder and the weight difference did the rest. Even the TMO looked carefully and said that was nothing. It happens on every kick.
I'm a little more sceptical about the french try, it seems to me that Picamoles scored in two times.

Good to see that Paddy Jackson can delivered a fine performance. Heaslip proved that he is a great captain, despite what the critics said before the match.
And please Gatland, put Murray on scrumhalf for the Lions tour!

On French side, Picamoles is really impressive. He has made more metres (302), breaks (5) and beat more defenders (14) than any other player in this 6 Nations.
I still don't understand why Saint Andrz put Michalak instead of Trinh Duc. Michalak had a bad tournament, while Trinh Duc really brought something against England. And what about the last action, when at 13-13 Michalak decided to make this horrible kick for nobody ? Keep the ball and wait for a penalty, or try a drop goal !

England hang on for win over Italy and Grand Slam opportunity

A great end of match by Italy. But, as always, in the end England wins. Which is, as an non-English, really frustrating. And impressive.

However I think that England deserved at least a yellow card for all these faults when they were under pressure, like when Robshaw was penalised on Venditti break. McCaw would have been proud of him.

England stay on track for Grand Slam with win over France

Trinh Duc was not replaced because of knock on his head. He was himself surprised by this replacement.

Huget said after the match : "Farrell is a young player, he will be channeled. He came yelling at me, he insulted me. I told him to have respect. This is a young man who tries to be intimidating. I've seen worse".
I think Farrell had a bad game, except with the penalties. He was irritated, took bad decisions and he missed an easy cross-field kick (something he doesn't usually miss). Toby Flood really brought something, unlike Michalak.

Farrell gave a shoulder strike in the head of Parra. Nothing serious, Parra overdid it, but still silly.
