Wallabies crush the Barbarians in Matfield's farewell game

Could anyone on the field defend? I'm no Cipriani fan but I'm surely missing the great ability of others on the field. There was maybe 3 players who did themselves well. The rest looked like amateurs.

Well, he's 80kg ringing wet. Defensively very poor throughout, but Burger was none too better in that try. It's a good job they played him on the wing to protect him too. I also think being outside Freuan probably flattered him.

Over all the performance from everyone involved was poor. Poor attack, poor defence. Even poor commentary and refereeing in the way of imaginary forward passes being pinged.

WIN a trip to the Hong Kong Sevens with Kukri!

"Forget the copybook tackle, anyone coaching it in 2011 should be expelled from the game for promoting injury - When making a front on tackle ALWAYS go above the waist, unless you enjoy concussions and career ending injuries"

Biarritz's two fantastic tries from Harinordoquy and Zee Ngwenya

What makes you think Rodgers celebration is original? People have been doing an imaginary belt celebration forever.

Ronan O'Gara does it again with late winner against Castres

Why would they be worried? They're proving themselves to be built for high pressure, high intensity environments. The sort of wins that Munster are churning our will give them a distinct advantage come the big games.

Stephen Ferris crunches Lee Byrne in the Heineken Cup opening round

Great hit. But shows how all over the place refereeing is these days, this really was a carbon copy of Paul Williams Vs Namibia. Refs need to make more of an effort to get on the same page so the players know what they can and can't do.

Steven Shingler red carded for spear tackle against Cardiff Blues

Hmmmmmmmmm. Chabal picks players up off their feet all the time, it's almost his trademark

I know what he was referring to, but Moddeur said "I don't believe that a single player out there wants to break someone else's neck"

O'Driscoll can't answer whether Umaga or Mealumu wanted to break his neck, only Umaga and Mealamu could.

Steven Shingler red carded for spear tackle against Cardiff Blues

Why? Has O'Driscoll admitted that he wants to break peoples necks?

The tackled man practically speared himself. Was incredibly dangerous but I can't entertain anything more than a yellow.
