Edinburgh's Nick De Luca flips Tom Grabham in dangerous tackle

That is total brain fade form De Luca. What on earth was he thinking?
His reaction at being sent off could hardly have helped either, very blase and matter-of-fact.
13 weeks is appropriate, should give him plenty of time to 'reflect'.

Cian Healy banned for three weeks for leg stamp on Dan Cole

Can't believe those excusing his actions as a result of Cole lying on the wrong side and thus somehow 'deserved it'.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it the job of the referee to apply the laws of the game and any sanctions for players committing wrongdoing? Or is Healy now judge and jury for any onfield indiscretions against his side?
3 weeks is simply farcical for that. A full blooded stamp on an ankle deserved 6 weeks minimum. The repercussions for Cole could have been simply disastrous and I'm surprised that Ireland have got the affront to actually consider appealing.
But then, maybe I'm not so shocked after seeing what O'Gara got away with only a few weeks previous.
Healy's is the cheapest shot in the book i.e. stamping on a leg when a player is prone.
He ought to have missed the rest of the campaign and may damage any possible Lions call-up.

Munster's Ronan O'Gara facing ban for deliberate kick on Sean Cox

That was pure filth form O'Gara. Ok, he was body checked. Does thta give him the right to do what he did? As for the panel saying they accepted he only intended to trip Cox that is almost criminal!
That was a full blown volley into Cox's leg, not a sly sticking out of the foot.
And as for one week, that's farcical.
But then I expect nothing less from a player infamous for his lack of tackling prowess, preferring instead to pull a cheap shot then run and hide like a bitch behind the big boys when it all kicks off.

Coward, nothing less.

Alex Waller yellow carded for punch vs Glasgow Warriors

Complete idiot. No sympathy. If I was coach I'd fine him the maximum amount possible. How much has he cost the club there?
As I tell my son at the start of every game, indiscipline will cost you the match every single time.

It certainly did in this case, from a potentially winning psition.

Toby Flood faces ban for alleged dangerous tackle on Andy Goode

Correct decision by the panel IMHO. When the tackle was made, Flood was wrong-footed and off balance. Then a combination of Goode's weight, both players crabbing sideways and the hooker getting hold of Goode around the neck(pulling him through horizontal) meant that Flood was never in enough control to bring him down safely.

Nice to see a bit of common sense for once.

Hooker Dylan Hartley cited for striking Ulster's Rory Best

Same old, same old from Hartley i.e. the inevitable cheap shot, never having the courage to square up man to man.
I expect nothing less from him. Biting and sly digs are part of his armoury.

Three red cards in heated Leicester Tigers vs Bath battle at Welford Road

Have to say I felt a little sorry for Banahan, certainly didn't appear to be any malice in it and Allen, taking evasive action sort of ducked into it a little bit so 3 weeks is a tad harsh.

Andrew Hore cited for off the ball stiffarm on Bradley Davies

5 weeks for a full blooded swinging arm cowardly assault from behind, that would see you arrested in any town on a Saturday night.
Richie Rees got 12 for accidentally making contact with Hartley's face when he grabbed him, but it seems 'it don't mean jack if you wear the Black'.

Shocking decision from the IRB, compounded all the more with the "However, the Judicial Officer found that the player had not intended to make contact with the victim player's head" decision.

So exactly where WAS Hore aiming for on the body? Playful rib dig? Ankle tap?

Hang your head IRB for giving the AB's carte blanche to decide how THEY will police the game and not the ref's. Shameful.

Andrew Hore cited for off the ball stiffarm on Bradley Davies

Some of the talk on here about the obstructive running is frankly laughable. That sort of running by Davies goes on in every game of rugby at every level during every high ball, to one degree or another.
What DOESN'T happen is every player subsequently takes the law into their own hands and blindsides their opponent with a cheap, filthy shot from behind.

It's impossible to say that Wales would have beaten the AB's follwing what would have been an obvious sending off but 15 v 14 for 79 minutes would have been interesting!

Hore has been vivlified back in NZ and is still considered persona no grata by many after his previous misdemeanour away from the rugby field.

He ought to get a lengthy ban but I doubt it would bother the type of human being who shoots a defenceless, protected species with a shotgun for 'fun'.

Rob Simmons escapes on-field punshment for dangerous tackle on Yannick Nyanga

As most tackles like that are these days, measuring that against Warburton's means this is a red all day long. Warburton let him go and immediately competed for the ball.
Simmons turned him well beyond 90, didn't release him and made sure he felt his full body weight.
Straight red and 4 weeks in my book.
