Ed Quirk lashes out with elbow and knee after being held off the ball

Add in some stupid bollocks about how I'm basically anti-French for speaking English, and we're off to the races!

Ed Quirk lashes out with elbow and knee after being held off the ball

What I despise about rugby at the moment is that the above conversation is about how dangerous (or not) the above is. Here's the basic requirements of every RD conversation from now on:
- someone has to quote a player's weight
- someone has to use an anecdote about someone who would be severely endangered if this happened to them, such as someone who had an existing neck injury*
- someone else has to then massively overreact and say that this person is clearly not a player and wants to ruin the game that they grew up playing blah blah blah.

I'm bored of this crap.

Right now the comments on Pornhub are more interesting than half the chats on here.

*a person who might also be hurt jerking their head by, say, sneezing.

Don't overreact, DrG's use of 'cous cous eaters' is a joke about an earlier conversation.

It is irritating, but as RD says above, there is still a line. Pretty sure this guy crossed it once he started using knees and elbows.

Fascinating 2017 Six Nations comes to a close - Final Weekend Highlights Wrap

Like for your last paragraph. I think this was exactly what he was thinking.

I thought Wales should have had yellow cards for their knock ons as well, I think he made a bad call in both cases.

I was surprised that he didn't give a yellow to Wales, but I think virtually everyone watching, and Barnes, suspected that Antonia wasn't concussed. Getting him off the pitch, and a much better scrummager on, was pretty obviously cynical in my opinion.

France deserved to win, but in this case I think two wrongs made a right.

Nicolas Sanchez banned for dangerous challenge after only being penalised

AAAARGH! I'm trapped in a horrible World Rugby induced circular rule-discussion clusterfuck! All these sensible people making sensible points about completely ridiculous directives...

I'm reading Harry Potter to my eldest, way above Stroudos' reading age sadly, but World Rugby's directives increasingly remind me of Dolores Umbridge. New mental rule every ten minutes. I know they're doing it for the best of reasons, but we're just spiralling out of control. I've been changed from someone who wants to see loads of safety to someone who wants to see two grown men smack the shit out of each other, and the laws can go fuck themselves. This is what World Rugby have reduced me to. I used to be so... nice. Now I want to see the world burn.

England crowned Six Nations 2017 champions after demolition of Scotland

Yes, but we're trying really hard to get there and will stop at nothing in our pursuit of excellence.

Ireland are a class outfit and can be absolutely marvellous on their day. They've had a defeat in Cardiff and will now want to bounce back. I'm worried that we won't have the mental strength to turn them over.

Krip, I think if you read my comments history you'll see that I'm genuinely interested in the game. I don't think I'm super-biased, but I'll happily accept that as your opinion and live my life.

I don't agree with im1 that you should piss off, you should stay and argue, it's what makes this website fun. I think Stroudos should piss off, because he is arrogant, and I'm not, because I'm better than him.

I'm not sure I've said anything along the lines of "we are winning, so everything is amazing", I simply argued that England have always been called arrogant and probably always will be while we remain a strong team.

I'm definitely short-witted, concede that.
