England get the better of Australia with strong second half at Twickenham

Just saying would be nice too have two big carriers - also does play 6 for Saracens a lot so I wouldn't be surprised in the future

England get the better of Australia with strong second half at Twickenham

wrote a load about this then computer F****D up so put it short
Good Points-Dickson really clever
- Brown was Brilliant
- Vunipola was scary
- Robshaw's best game and back row in general

Bad Points- Farrell was poor
- Ashton (I said he should have played but was wrong) was really very poor should have played Wade
- Midfield was very crap could have been because the fly-half giving poor ball
- Twelvetrees tackle
- Twelvetrees tackle
- Twelvetrees tackle
- A hollow victory as I feel we cheated and find it hard to celebrate really.

My team next week 1. Marler 2. Hartley 3. Wilson 4. Launchbury 5. Attwood 6. Vunipola 7. Robshaw 8. Morgan I really want to see some big ball carriers

9. Dickson 10. Flood 11. Yarde 12. Twelvetrees 13. Trinder 14. Wade 15. Brown

O2 Inside Line - Season 4 Episode 1

Dickson over Ben Youngs is a good decision you have to pick on form and Youngs isn't on form and this could be a kick up the arse he needs. Same with Morgan though he is in a terrible pack and can't get any front foot ball to work with so I give and take on him and vunipola probably would have had vunipola come of the bench. Tomkins- who else is there to pick ? Trinder has just come back from injury Eastmond just come back from injury Burrell is an inside centre and his defense is suspect so playing him out of position wont help. With Foden they need someone in the back three who can kick Brown has a great boot, ashton and yarde don't have kicking games.

Springboks full of belief after thumping the Wallabies in Brisbane

I think it is a little unfair to say weak opposition because the wallabies did beat wales 3 times in a row and they are not really that bad ! They beat England at Twickenham and beat the lions in one test. And I did say I haven't watched much super 15 but Engelbrecht hasn't done badly and I think he plays well with JDV.
I think that as a unit they are a great back row, I did over react in saying the best back row in the world but I just watched the match and thought they were great. Alberts was smashing everything that moved Vermulen was great collecting kicks running the ball smashing rucks, and Louw is brilliant over the ball. Now maybe the 2009 back row was probably better but the tour vs England they were a lot worse with Spies-Alberts-Cotezee nothing at the breakdown good carrying but nothing else.

Well that was impressive. Argentina vs Australia really will be interesting, can cooper and co play well on the back foot because their scrum will get destroyed. Boks vs all blacks will be great, but without McCaw the breakdown will be hard for New Zealand to control I think the Boks may have the best collective back row unit in the world( probably over doing it). Also is saili going to be able to cope I didn't see much of super 15 but up against JDV and Engelbrecht he may struggle

British and Irish Lions thump Combined Country in Newcastle

Twelvetrees has just been called up for cover. Hope he has something to do with the tour very talented player, though maybe hook should have been in the tour to start with ?

Really the biggest place up for grabs is the 14 shirt. No one has nailed it down yet and that is where we could see Hogg though it may be a waste of his talent? my team would be
1. Corbisiero
2. Hibbard/ Youngs both are throwing quite poorly which is concerning
3. Jones
4. POC
5. Gray
6. Croft
7. Tipuric
8. O'Brien
9 Phillips
10. Sexton
11. North
12. Tuilagi (just the best centre partnership I have seen so far though it may change)
13. O'Driscoll
14. Hogg
15. Halfpenny

16. Youngs/ Hibbard
17. Vunipola
18. Cole
19. Parling
20. Warburton ( can play anywhere on the back row)
21. Youngs
22. Roberts
23. Cuthbert/ Maitland ( Maitland's ability to play 13-15 does probably give him a slight advantage but neither have shown that much )
7.

England too strong for Argentina in first Test in Salta

@Woodenman I may be saying this with English bias but he is in the top 5 number 8 in the world, Read-Parrise-Picamoles-Morgan possibly I now know that someone will mention a name I forgot that makes me look stupid !

Happy with the game only quarrel was that strettle played instead of May and blew a few chances just seems like a strange selection policy. Also shows how much we missed Morgan during the 6 nations !
