Highlights and celebrations from Japan's famous win over South Africa

It's comments like yours and Katman's that still make this my favourite rugby website. Before the match I read a lot of insult in the direction of the Japanese on other websites (varying from questioning either the 'Brave' and the 'Blossom', their size, skills, etc). But guys like you are the real rugby afficionados and I applaud you and every other Bok fan with the same sentiment for that.

You know, coming from the Netherlands for me it is almost impossible to fathom how incredibly disappointed you guys must be, which makes those generous words extra special.

England finish strongly to pick up bonus point win over Fiji in RWC 2015 opener

From a neutral perspective I really enjoyed the match. The scoreline might be a bit flattering to England though. The subs made the difference in the end but besides Brown I thought Robshaw also had a great game.

God I love seeing those Fijians play but well done England.

Brad Thorn tackle breaks ribs of reality TV star in charity match

Brave..retarded..potato..tomato.. There's a fine line between those 2 things in rugby, I guess.

There was a bit of wendyball-kind-of-off-the-ball-stuff going on now and then. But I reckon that is a matter of instinct kicking in with some of the non regular rugby players.

Brad Thorn tackle breaks ribs of reality TV star in charity match

Take a look at his tackle in the 78th minute. Absolutely never heard of this guy but what he lacks in body weights he more than compensates for in bravery.

France convincing winners over England despite late comeback in Paris

First of all congratulations on the win.

I'm not in denial Frenchie. I watched it from a neutral perspective (neither for France nor England) although I am rooting for the Poms since everyone else seems to like to see them loose and I don't think the current crop of players and the coach deserve that.

I don't think France showed anything but a strong forward performance. The backs created very little. England lost (I believe) more than half of their lineouts and the scrum was a mess. Off course also due to a good French performance but they were partly architects of their own downfall.

France can go a long way in the WC. Hell, they showed that 4 years ago. But again I don't think it will be because they play very well, like the French teams of old used to do.

France convincing winners over England despite late comeback in Paris

I was there. During warm up I got the feeling England were not completely focussed. I few dropped balls etc. Maybe they are a bit overtrained at this stage and I guess the psychological strain must be quite severe by now.

I don't think overall France were that good although the win was deserved beyond any doubt. Their forwards won them the game for sure but a lot of points and posession were handed to them on a plate by the England team.

From an English perspective I would call this the right moment for one last lousy game.

Wallabies snatch dramatic victory after Springboks fail to run down the clock

I agree with you on the need for consistency. Nevertheless the fact that it didn't get penalised last play, does not make it less illegal. It just makes you and your team lucky on that occasion.

Ed Morrison admits that Springboks probably scored try in 1995 World Cup Final

I can't possibly imagine the amount of stress and pressure these guys are under. Can't have anything else but the utmost respect for them, even if they cock up every now and then.
