Having carter in the pivot role he will see NZ home. Hes such class like he showed with his last minute drop goal against the irsh. Carter Along with Mccaw and Read leading the way to victory. Will also be boosted even more by the return of wing Corey Jane and powerhouse Victor Vito from injury
His recent form will see the All Blacks miss him and could mean hes stunted his growth to become a really good union player. But this decision is based on a handshake agreement he made before he came back to union so he obviously didnt think he was going to enjoy playing union as much as he did. Where is his loyalty?! He knew since he walked out on his contract he would have his 5 year ban to play union then go back. So now sadly as much as hes a good athlete he will be remembered for having no loyalty and for chasing the money between codes. Personally I dont know why he spent so much time on and off the field changing his entire game to union and working and training really hard to know and play the game well if he knew he was going back to league? Maybe he will realise he likes union better and come back in 2014 for the 2015 world cup.... But by then him wasting his potential growing time in union there could be better players in his position and he may not get another shot at the black jersey. Yes. Carter is the best and most consistent 1st 5 ever to wear the 10 jersey. He is so well balanced in all of his skill sets. He takes the ball to the line, makes the breaks when he sees the gaps,reads the game so well, has great vision, has a good passing game, he puts players through the gaps with his weighted passes, his all round kicking game from chipping and chasing, through kicks, punting, penalty's and conversions hes so accurate he rarely misses and he has the cool head thats needed to drop those game winning drop goals when needed. He also makes the tackles, makes the hits and gets back in defence, makes try saving tackles, he gets in the ruck ball, even forces a few turn overs. No better player to have as your pivot directing your team than the legend that is DC.
