The Top 5 Brian O'Driscoll Moments of All Time

It's hard to believe that any former amateurs could still be playing top flight rugby. Hoping to see some more magic in Rabo and Heiniken Cup before boots are finally hung up.

Ireland and O'Driscoll celebrate 2014 Six Nations victory in Paris

Personally, I thought the very first penalty in minute one spelt out how badly Steve Walsh was going to reff the game. For me Bod was first tackler and Henderson was entitled to compete on his feet. It was held in and penalty should have gone to Ireland. Nigel Owen had to step onto pitch to signal another penalty and Barnes could be clearly seen with the hand on the hip for the blatantly obvious forward pass at the end, but still we had to enjour several minutes of playback for him to see what every one saw live. But no chance of him going upstairs when try scored at crowded post for which he had to move position to view final destination of ball but not actual grounding. Cian Healy can keep him on the Christmas card list. Despite his best efforts the game in both quality and excitement didn't fail to entertain. Come back Alaine Rowland. One more year! One more year!

Ireland win 2014 Six Nations after late France forward pass

Phil it possibly comes as a surprise to you, but both Kearney brothers are much lauded by the ladies and few have a bad word to say about them unlike Canadien content. Maybe you misunderstood or misread the comments before labeling me a sexist. Like the use of French. Makes you sound sophisticated.

Ireland win 2014 Six Nations after late France forward pass

Trust France to come out and play their best game of the tournament. Made for an exiting tense battle. Whats more pleasing as an Irish man was the performances of some of the newcomers and the bench. Devon Toner has made the 4 jersey his. Dave Kearney has Tommy Bowe worried, Chris Henry however different to Sean O'Brien was so effective. In fact there is healthy pressure in all positions. To the coaching who made the physically smallest team one of the best defensesive outfits of the competition with a solid set peace. Hats off Smidht, Feak and Plumtree. Finally Brian O'' Driscoll, Thank you for your awesomeness.

Wales bounce back with strong win over France in Cardiff

And now there are 4. The Welsh to go to Twickers for a Muscle Fest. The Irish who invite Italy over for a game of cricket and the Scots with their ' at least we have won one' attitude versus the artist formally know as France with their 'Merd we are lucky to have won one' attitude. It shapen up to be a cracker.

England hold on after tense battle with Ireland at Twickenham

What a tight game. With defenses like that, it's easy to see both Ireland and England do well in the World Cup. In Lancaster and Schmitt each country has super tacticians.
Critism has been put on Warrenball. Big bish bash bosh backs, but this is the direction the game is going. Mention of Burrell and Tualagi combo in previous posts outline the lust for this type of back line. But think of the poor wee 5'11" 14 Stone Age +34 centre combo of Darcy and O'Driscol still breaking the line more times than not and still taking monster men down. When are we ever going to see a centre partnership like that again. Unfortunately, for Ireland probably not for a while. Calling all giant unnaturally fast uncapped Tongans with Irish grandfathers for job vacancy Autum 2014. What the hell, everybody else is doing it!
