Carl Hayman suspended for four weeks for Zee Ngwenya spear tackle

Yellow is fair I reckon... the commentator calling him a "cop out" seems to forget the ref sees everything in real time so doesn't have the luxury of watching slow motion replays many times over to judge the incident.

Bradley Davies & Stephen Ferris controversial tackles discussed

It will be interesting to see the outcomes of the citings for these 2 players. In my opinion, Ferris shouldn't receive any extra punishment, a yellow card at the time was sufficient (if a little harsh, but you have to appreciate the ref doesn't see all the angles we do - as Andy Nicol pointed out, in one of the angles it looks bad whereas from another it looks OK). Bradley Davies, on the other hand, could be facing a fair ban - his "tackle" was off the ball and Donnacha Ryan was almost vertical upon impact with the ground. I agree with Keith Wood regardless - "intent" shouldn't come into it, it should be a clear cut act of taking a player beyond horizontal, not whether it "seemed" like it was intentional.

Ronan O'Gara sinks Saints with injury time drop goal

Being a Saints fan I'm gutted for the loss, but you can't help but applaud O'Gara and Munster for the finish.

Mike Tindall sacked and fined by the Rugby Football Union

The decision to drop and fine Tindall seems a bit harsh to me, although on the other hand I do think his time in an England jersey should have been up after the World Cup anyway to allow some newer talent through and build towards 2015. Fines for Haskell and Ashton I can agree with to an extent - hopefully it should teach them not to get themselves into "compromising" situations in the future. Having seen the many O2 Inside Line videos involving the 2, I would guess they probably just took some of their banter a tad too far, and if they are mature enough they should learn for the future.

On the video, great hit from Tinds on Brits, a man you'd usually expect to make good yardage when he gets the ball. Also enjoyed the crowd's cheering at Zara, bet they love having royalty down to watch!

Courtney Lawes big tackle on Wasps flyhalf Nicky Robinson

Love watching Lawes smash people (when he does it legitimately anyway). Also a Saints fan, really impressed with Artemyev so far! Hoping him and Ashton continue racking up the tries.
