New Zealand win England series 2-0 with victory in Dunedin

The AB's got up to the 110%... for a 20 min period at the start of the second half. Wasn't vintage by either side but even I as an England fan recognise that the points deficit should have been far greater. I just can't work out whether its down to character or blind luck that thats not the case.

New Zealand snatch victory in the dying minutes after strong England showing

I've never understood this premise. If that player is a fullback, play him at fullback. Its international rugby, no one should be played out of position. I get that its less pressurised to put him on the wing but if he's seriously being looked at as a potential 15, he's gotta be able to show what he can do in that role specifically. Also, to my knowledge he's never been a regular on the wing.

I would agree that Care is most definitely the form 9 at the moment, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that Youngs isn't international standard by any stretch, I just think at the moment its a mixture of lack of having a break in a while and maybe to some extent complacency about his game is causing him to under-perform. In the past he's shown a far better all round game than Care ever has.

Stephen Ferris talks about his forced retirement from the game

Massive shame, as an Englishman he was always a pleasure to watch despite the fact that he was almost always part of the opposition, one of those you had expectations for before the match and he always delivered. Career cut far too short.

Prop Logovi'i Mulipola's big charge flattens Sales Sharks hooker

That boy was a find, to my knowledge barely getting a game for Hawkes Bay when Tigers picked him up, developing into something special... assuming his injury prone leg holds firm.

Tom Court shown straight red card for tip tackle on Devin Toner

Aww Luke Pearce was on a pretty decent run before this game as well! Yellow at most IMO.

Saracens fly through to Cup Final after dominant performance vs Clermont

...that made me laugh more than i'm prepared to admit.

Re. the ash splash, i'm not entirely against the whole showboating aspect of it, if you've done the work you've earned it, but one day he's gonna spill that ball and cost his team (England or sarries) in a big way.

Saracens fly through to Cup Final after dominant performance vs Clermont

Whilst I do agree that they would have won regardless, it appeared that Claremont's morale dropped dramatically after that try was given. I'd say it was definitely the wrong call and whilst sarries were most definitely good for the win, I don't think they were as good as the scoreline suggests.

France snatch victory from England in Six Nations thriller in Paris

It was more a general observation of the lineout overall as oppose to talking specifically of Youngs. I just dislike the uneven distribution of blame that hookers generally receive when for a lineout to function, every man in it has to do their job right, not even just the lifters and jumpers but also guys dummying etc.
