Leonardo Ghiraldini in trouble after making contact with Cian Healy's eyes

Well he is captain of Munster and if not BOD it is him that does the talking, and he was only backing up his mate that could of lost an eye, he was right there after all.

Knowing that he is not a dirty player will come to his aid this time around but will haunt him forever as the world is watching and now his name is sin-ominous with dirty play.

Late Toulouse try against Agen leads to post match chaos

Very true that they actually attempt to hit the guys protecting the ref, and then the fella in blue that barges in and puts in his two cents and pushes the guards is pathetic. Nothing to say for it and I hope that the Agen staff at least apologise (maybe a fine?) to the ref so that this stamps out the idea that you can antagonise professionals off the field.

Late Toulouse try against Agen leads to post match chaos

Tension sometimes gets too much for people, but for staff in the professional game to actually wait in the tunnels for the ref, after the whistle mind you (so the game cannot be affected in one bit!), seems totally crazy to think that it is rational.

But to comment on Luke not being included in the AB's, I thought it was a mistake not having him on as the sheer utility (considering he is an established test 10), move in to the centres or fullback, and can also kick bloody well too. A solid player to even just have in the 30, as a player who can run, kick, tackle, and read the game (maybe not as well as say Carter or Wilkinson) but can never the less. To snub him from the 1st team made sense as Carter was there, but to snub him entirely is shocking really and over Slade who has relatively no experience (to the test arena) is even more shocking. Granted That Luke was not playing 10 for most of the year, but neither was Slade who was injured and actually not on the field at all.
Yes the AB's are not completely out of it yet as the team is made up of 30 individuals not 1, and have the best players in the world in several positions. And having at least Peri Weepu who is actually a class 10, can kick nicely, and has control aswell as fire that great players have. So New Zealand are still the best team in the World, but without Carter the others are closer than ever before, especially SA who have nearly their best side and are playing well.

Wow, this RWC is tense and very much drama filled with big upsets, great play from top and bottom teams, the northern teams (Wales and Ireland particularly) playing a great style of game against the southern teams. Hope this carries on into the finals!

Rugby World Cup Daily - Ireland upset the Wallabies

Well if your retiring from the international scene as of the end of the world cup and your not playing bad but positive rugby, I would imagine that you would want to be on as much as possible and putting in as much as you can before you go. So I say he meant it, but in the sort of sentimental way as opposed to him being the best option for the team and their play.

Rugby World Cup Daily - Injuries, citings, and fans

I am not surprised by Lawes citing as it was not necessary in the slightest and could have been avoided or at the very least prevented by some measure at least, but not he went with it, and knocked out Mario Ledesma (which is pretty clear and obvious). As he is young and not really a malicious offender for the most part, he was very much on the brutal and illegal side of things and deserves a 3-4 match ban (taking his record into account and tournament) otherwise it would have gotten 6-8 weeks had this been back in England.

All Blacks beat Tonga in opening match of Rugby World Cup 2011

Toeava was selected as back up to both Dagg and Mils at full back, but can also shift to the wing or centre because of his size and pace (he also can kick well too). I guess he was selected on his sheer versatility, and the fact he is a great player in all respects at test level. He also has a few caps under his belt and could potentially handle situations and change his game, where as Gear is a specialist winger, which the AB's are not lacking in any respect, and also Gear I hate to say it did not show enough as a pure winger (thus far anyways) to override the value in picking up the solid Toeava.

Rugby World Cup Daily - Super Saturday

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2011/sep/12/courtney-lawes-cited-england-argentina
there is an update on the Lawes citing, and it does seem like the tournament has been quite clean in a sense of cards or anything of the sort. But as you said, he does have a case on his hands for both incidents and is being followed up on one (tad bit of karma perhaps?). But I also think he is a fine young player with such an immense future considering he is 22 and playing lock as he is just means he is going to get better with age, and if Simon Shaw has proven anything, locks have a long shelf life.

Rugby World Cup Daily - Super Saturday

Any word if the citing commissioner will be coming down on Courtney Lawes? The running of his knees into the Argentine prop as it was malicious and knocked him out, it certainly deserved a red, or 3-4 weeks at the least. Or of any other potential incidents because the world cup so far has been pretty clean with this match proving to the the ugliest (bar the awesome defence by Wales and SA)?

Rugby World Cup - The Arena Test

I understood that this was an advertisement for Nike, but players like AAC are not sponsored by Nike. But my broad selection was in a perfect world where the faces of the game were animated, in a sense a more complete representation, but cheers for the reply.
