Highlights of Leinster's record breaking Heineken Cup final win over Ulster

I fear that this is the begining of a new era for Leinster.
They not only have so many class players but YOUNG ones also if you consider; Cian Healy, Fitzgerald, O'Brien, Sexton etc.
As for Sexton, when he plays for Leinster he shows a masterclass in kicking, passing and controlling, with glimses of real flare also (Just look at his inside pop pass against Cardiff in the Heinken Cup group stages.....AWESOME). However neither him or the other clubs in Ireland have been able to transfer these qualities into their Test side.

Best European Teams (in order):
1. Leinster
2. Toulose
3. London Wasps
4. Leicster
5. Munster

Aviva Premiership semi-finals highlights wrap-up

Unquestionably the best two teams in the premiership.
Hard to see Harlequins winning this one as Leicester are hitting great form.

Leicester 28 - 17 Harlequins

Alesenna Tuilangi to score a hatrick

Darren Cave & Johan Muller hits plus highlights of first Heineken Cup semi final

As a wasp fan i am gutted that both Clermont and Edinburgh lost, especially Clermont who came so close, and like Leinster will (and would have) blow away Ulster in the final.
If wasps had qualified for the heineken then a buyer would have been a given!

Toulon through to Challenge Cup final after nail-biting win over Stade Francais

Steffon Armitage is AWESOME! PACE and POWER what more could you want from your openside!
Perfect for taking on the big, beastly SA back rowers!
The only problem is where do put Robshaw? the current captain!

On current form I do not see any reason why Steffon Armitage will not make the lions team! its never too late.

Sam Vesty butchers try as Tom Varndell chases him down

For that tackle alone Wasps deserve to stay in the Premiership!

If they can stay up this season then the furure looks very bright, especially when you consider that 7 players were under 21!! pushing a very experinced Bath team!

With the signings of Ashley Johnson, Haskel and Palmer the second row and back row postion will be very strong!

4. Palmer
5. Wentzel (c)
6. Launchberry
7. Haskell
8. Johnson

The big hits, try savers, and collisions from England vs Wales

Totally agree with your comments on Strettle. He had at least a good 5 yards to work with and yet he straigtened, BIZZARE!, suppose he thought he could run over Leigh Halfpenny (certainley got that wrong). I reckon Strettle had the pace to just get in, in the corner, although in saying that it would have been very close!.

Now tht is what i call a test match!!

If ever there was a question asking to define a tests match, tht would be it! Outstanding!

Gloucester and Harlequins score classic tries in great game of rugby

I hope it is'nt long before Matt Hopper gets hs chance to prove himself on the international stage. I know it is probabley a bit to soon, but he has shown himself to be a real class act this season, namely in the games v toulose (home and away) where on several ocassions he showed great skill to elude great players like Florian Fritz and Luke McAlister.
Also I think Jonny May could be a potential game changer. Although it would take another season or two before he gains the valuable exprience needed to play at test level.
As a wasp fan I rate Christian Wade very highly, as his pace strength and skill are immense considering his age. In my opinion he could be the spark England need, to add the flair ro the England backline. However, like Jonny May, he needs a few more seasons to gain more experience.

Gloucester and Harlequins score classic tries in great game of rugby

I would love to hear your idea of a 'classic' try. Judging by your comments, there would only ever be 1 try (if that) making it on to your shortlist.

Its comments such as owens here that really enlighten you on people who have no clue of the game.

Gloucester and Harlequins score classic tries in great game of rugby

Yer, BUT the try was not just good for ashtons run, it also included the turn over, under pressure, then ben youngs playing the ball (on the try line) rather than kicking it, dummyinng quade cooper in the prosess, playing it to Lawes who drew two tackles, and offloaded it. It's about the big picture!

Also it was not against some second rate international team it was againist Australia, the team considered at the time to be the best attacking unit!.
