I still maintain the worst call I've ever seen is in the second test of the Lions v South Africa in 09. Linesman tells the ref that he has clearly seen a deliberate eye gouge and they agree on a yellow card. Absolutely f-ing unbelievable.

Ironic that, prior to the Lions tour, everyone's reasoning for not including Tuilagi was that he "couldn't pass". I like Roberts, but I have never seen him pass regularly, and when I do see him try it, it's generally pretty poor.
Great run by Sexton though.

Leicester v Saracens Premiership Final in 2010 was brilliant too - Hipkiss nicking the ball and scampering over for a last minute try.

Absolute belter of a final in store today - I cannot wait! This one is the final that all the neutrals will have wanted (I presume) - it will have all the passion and skill you could want but with that extra bite of a derby thrown in. If Tigers can hold their own set piece (without Ayerza) then I think they'll win well - if not? Well, it's anyone's game.
My preview and prediction for the final is here: www.ruckedover.blogspot.com

If we are talking about stats, then Chris Robshaw should be in the Lions squad ahead of Warburton and Tipuric. And anyone should be in ahead of Lydiate (in terms of stats this season)!.
O'Shea also came out and essentially referred to those who doubt Tom Croft's physicality as idiots. His work rate is excellent and considering Harelquins didn't have the ball in the second half, 8 tackles in one half is not bad by any stretch of the imagination.
You are right though in that the backrow requires balance - but Croft IS the form 6 at the moment.

Considering what Gatland said about selection - he'd base it on 6 nations performances and/or club form in games of a similar intensity - I find it hard to understand why Lydiate is going.
He's a great player when fit, but all he's managed are 4 dead rubber games for the Dragons. Robshaw, meanwhile, is fit and was one of the players of the Six Nations. And I don't buy into the argument of 'there are 3 better 7s" - one played his best game of the tournament at 6, one can't get into the international side at 7 when everyone is fit, and the other is no more of an open side than Robshaw! Form would point to the bloke who finished towards the top of all the charts relevant to flankers and who got man of the match in 3 of England's games. I think he's incredibly unlucky.

Credit to James Cameron? From Titanic and Avatar to this?
Hell of an improvement, JC.

I'm a Leicester fan and am annoyed with Cockerill over this. Rugby is all about big carries with knees and elbows flying - sometimes you take an unlucky knock.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all - usually if Cockerill complains, he actually has some justification...I can't see he has any here.

Ha. I'm sure you, on the other hand, would have levelled him?!

Manu is a great player who could become world class - as long as he is used effectively. I see him filling the same role as Nonu has the the ABs - originally a powerhouse wing/13, evolving into a powerhouse 12 with a cracking pass and intelligent lines!
A find a lot of the people who criticise Tuilagi will, in the same breath, sing the praises of Jamie Roberts. Both are big physical players who are used to get over the gainline. In fact, I think Manu would be more effective if he is used the way Wales use Roberts - first receiver off a lineout just to smash into the 10. Route 1 but boy it's good.
