Argentina beat Wales in Cardiff for the first time in eleven years

Imhoff and Camacho were great, but the real star of this game was the captain, Fernandez Lobbe. He plays with so much enthusiasm and has some great touches when it comes to offloads. And he's been in sublime form throughout the Rugby Championship too. For me he represents everything that is good about Argentine rugby.

All Black Adam Thomson's boot on Alasdair Strokosch's head

He knew what he was doing, or at least he realised it halfway through and sheepishly stopped it. So you had half a stomp which was kind of deliberate. So I'd say a couple of weeks and a strongly worded letter.

Done.

So now we can move onto the other, far more sinister part of this particular game, and also this video clip: The world's worst commentator, Jonathan Davies. What the feck is his claim to a microphone?

Seriously, I can't listen to the Welsh whiner cream his chinos at everything the Kiwis do. At one point he even admitted he'd run out of superlatives, and we were still in the first bloody half.

Somewhere in the second half he marveled at the replacement AB scrumhalf's "wonderful kicking technique" as he screwed a ball directly into touch. Didn't they arrest this fool for a pub brawl the other day? Who the feck bailed him out?

Take this video clip here. At around 15 seconds McCaw flops over the ball in the ruck, sealing it off, and not for the first or the last time in the game. But Mr Davies has this to say: "Ah, Richie McCaw's secured it for them, didn't he? He fell very cleverly the other side of the ball..."

Really, Jonathan? Very cleverly? How about very illegally? If anyone can direct me to the petition to have this drunkard removed from the BBC team, I'd be very much obliged.

A look at Wales' gruelling training camp in Poland

Argentina were tough as nails in their first Rugby Championship this year. They may have ended fourth, but they pushed each team all the way and even drew with my Boks. To me they were never the underdogs in this game. Wales would have had to be really focused and clinical to beat them. And they weren't. Guys like Fernandez Lobbe and Leguizamon are on par with the best loose forwards in the world. In fact, the way he's been playing this year, I reckon Fernandez Lobbe shades guys like Read, Harinordoquy, Parisse and Vermeulen. World rankings? Forget about it. In a couple of weeks that will all look a whole lot different.

Best Tries of the Top 14 - Rounds 8 and 9

Ireland is the next country to shop around for a national team, if the players leaving SA are anything to go by. Hooker Richard Strauss is already in the squad and now flank CJ Stander, lock Quinn Roux and centre Danie Poolman have all signed contracts with Munster, Leinster and Connacht, and expressed their desire to one day play for Ireland. And I don’t think they would have said this if it wasn’t a carrot that had already been dangled.

Best Tries of the Top 14 - Rounds 8 and 9

Great skills by Vincent Clerc. And David Smith had no right to score his try either. Nice to see some of the fatties get in on the action too.

Western Province beat the Sharks to win dramatic 2012 Currie Cup Final

This was a classic final - aggression, suspense and no clear result till the final whistle. The only downside is the decade of dining out on this win that we have to endure from the Province fans. The open top bus parade was already too much to stomach :)

browner, I'm afraid the only silly looking one here is you. You have posted nothing to contradict Bokskick's take on the law at all. As for your comment on Boks and foul play... sounds like that was pulled straight from your browner.

Juan De Jongh scores great try vs Sharks, celebrates with Gangnam Style

Great try. If you're going to step and hand-off like that, you can do a Michael Flatley routine for all I care.

Scott Higginbotham cited twice for knee and head-butt on Richie McCaw

Karl, rugby may be your thing, but analogies clearly aren’t. Your Afghan NASA example makes no sense. Only Kiwis can comment on whether McCaw is a cheat? That’s like saying only Saudis can express an opinion on the abuse of women because they have been dominating women consistently for thousands of years and will do so for eternity.
