Paul O'Connell knocks out Dave Kearney with clumsy kick to the head

I don't pretend he hit the head purposedly but it still is dangerous play and would deserve a ban. Unfortunately, he's supposed to lead Munster against Clermon on H-Cup semi-final next week. Therefore we can't have him ban right now.

What a joke!

Cardiff Blues' Lloyd Williams red carded for alleged dangerous tackle

Anyone whose ever stepped foot on a rugby pitch know the referee is always right! Legs upside down = tip tackle = red card. End of story.

Cardiff blues probably lost the game on this very action, as Montpellier was blatantly dominated before this event and struggled to win despite playing 14 to 15. Too bad, but the guy to blame is Williams , not the referee.

And by the way, check that:

Gloucester's Andy Hazell sees red following alleged eye-gouge

Gloucester's Andy Hazell sees red following alleged eye-gouge

Yeah, right. Receiving a knee in your face is to be considered an offense and should be punished with at least a yellow card, or red + 7 month ban if you happen to be french, play for a french team or have spent vacations in France during the last 6 months and dared to tackle a british player earlier during the game.

A punch is a punch. Kneeing a man on the ground is a brutality. And doing so right in front of the referee is not a smart thing to do. Was the flanker fully aware of what he was doing? Obviously not. Guess what? He was playing rugby.

Was there any sort of foul play before? Yes, he was tackled without the ball 5m from the tryline, received 130kg of tongian meat on his back and I think I saw the prop fart just when his ass was close to his face at 5:15 on the video. Stop playing with slow motion. Images may suggest a hand came close to the face. Live footage suggest the propo was falling, he hand behind him. I can't see how he could purposefuly aim anything, touch anything and press hard enough anything.

What I myself saw is very good refering. Took some time to discuss with his two mates, made the fouls explicit, ask them to confirm sanctions. Explained clearly to the player who saw what and why they were sent off. I wish we had such referees in the french championship.

Beast Mtawarira prevents Keegan Daniel from flipping head first

I like the attitude of the 13 that waits for the dangerous situation to be over before to start the contest. Rare fair play; Show that to McCaw...

Richie McCaw knee on Morgan Parra, Donald kick, Rougerie eye-gouge, and more

Ok, thank you Rugbydump for your impartiality.

I'm french.

Yes, I think there are legitimate questions to be asked to Rougerie. It is not a proper "fork" but there seems to be something;
Yes, I think referring in the famoue 2007 quarter-final was unfair;
No, I don't think Duck'penalty missed ann I don't think Yachvili's one was in

1 - The referring of the final is outrageous. And this outrage was done in front of the whole f...g rugby planet. What a marvelous example to be shown to kids: You wanna be champions? Play it like Kaino! The number 10 bothers you? Ram-it like McCaw!

2 - During the whole World Cup, the kiwi press has been outrageous with the french team. Remember the "Final Insult" headline of the Herald. I always pretended Rugby is a gentlemen's sport and kiwis are rugby gods. Now I know it was all bullshit.

3 - The gouging case seems like a very pale smoke screen thrown by kiwi press to try to cover with numerous insults. It legitimate their villaining campaign (we told you they were bad boys), it makes us forget the poor game played by ABs during the final, it changes the refering evaluation from "partial" to "poor", it balances McCaw agression on Parra (McCaw is no beginner. 3 times best player on the planet, 1.5 millions rucks a year and it didn't see Parra's head?)

4 - This Cup is tainted with shame and dishonor. Bash-washing will not help make it shine

All Blacks win the 2011 Rugby World Cup - France challenge the Haka

New-Zeland may have won the world cup. But as far as I'm concerned, this country lost all the respect and admiration I may have had for them. The kiwi press has been pathetic to such an extent their headlines will be remembered for years. Few people on earth may pretend the referring of the final was fair. We french were robbed.

Kiwis, you won the Cup but this Cup is tainted with fraud and treachery. The honor you lost that day will not be easily regained.

Sam Warburton red card in Rugby World Cup Semi Final

The referee was kind enough to provide Warburton with a card that match his jersey. Now you know why aussie wear yellow shirts.
