Will Skinner red carded from the bench as Harlequins beat Toulouse

... he actually never said that. He just said the Qins have it in their blood to cheat. Therefore, they need a good bloodgate everyonce in a while to remember that they should try it with clean plays.

well I do not actually consider the English to be less sporting, merely saying they are in absolutely no position to consider themselves more sporting than other nations, picking this fact to prove my point: they can be really really ugly, too! see ashton dragging Tuilagi by the hair just the other day...
As for your comments on the French, I'd say 2 things: unlike football, rugby is well within Common Wealth and generally English speaking countries, and Latin countries are not welcome, be it Italy, Argentina or France. France are taking all the blame because they can actually compete, so there still are people like you saying they are cheats and all that, but if you just look at the last RWC, France was the team that was less penalized if you compare games played/penalties. But still, you guys keep on about the French being horrible cheats and all that.
Rolland gave a straight red to Florian Fritz for a sweeter tackle just a few months before the RWC, which is the reason why the French said "harsh but fair". And YOU, first of all, would have agreed if things had gone the other way.
As for Parra, have you only seen a photo of his face after the final? You'd probably stop talking nonsense about how he overdid it and all that...but then again, so many "laptop warriors" on RD who'd take Richie McCow's knee in the face at full speed and laugh...

"doing what it takes to win and getting away with it"... quite the new, English definition of sportsmanship these days. a bit like humiliating maids in hotels and that kind of thing, innit?
Such a SHAME to say things like that. a bit like this RiCheat McCoward. I think winning the game is, actually, winning the game. Cheating to get the game isn't winning. By these kind of rules, French clubs could buy all the refs with the ton of money they seem to have. Would you guys still think they "did what it takes and got away with it?" or...oh, no, wait, they're French, oooo bloody c*nts, let's ban them for three years!!!!

Hope Toulouses and the Quin's path cross again, just to see the Dark Destroyer give a special hug to Skinner....

Chris Hala'ufia suspended internally for six weeks after citing for dangerous tackle

Has anyone seen this: http://www.lerugbynistere.fr/videos/le-comportement-de-chiffonnier-des-harlequins-sur-le-banc-2012111258.php
It's about the lesson of fair play that came from the Quins. I would like RD to put it online, just to stop with the cliché that the English are the kings of fair play: they are no better, no worse than any other nation/team, here's what they can do, too!

Mathieu Bastareaud breaks Agen scrumhalf Alexis Bales

LOL besides my own explanation (refs cannot always make the perfect call when they're in the game) I do agree rugby seems to be getting soft. they're about to supress scrummaging for good and I think when that day comes I'll simply ban rugby, as it won't be rugby anymore.
on a more comprehensive note, these guys are not gladiators! although it feels good to see hard knocks every once in a while, some guys seem to get real stoopid on the pitch (Courtney Lawes, some islanders with their high or spear tackles every other game, Sebastien Chabal, Jamie Cudmore, Gregory Le Corvec and many others who, though a bit more on the legal side than Lawes, seem to actually go on the pitch only to break jaws, rather than play good rugby.... we need not to become sissies, but let's not go trolling around asking for blood all the time!
excellent and funny comment anyway, u made me laugh so hard I threw up a bit!

more than legit it was absolutely brilliant! Bastareaud seems to be coming back! bad call by the ref, but then again, easier to get an idea from tv, the ref's in the middle of it, hears the knocks and the boos, runs a lot and therefore cannot always be as fair as the book says he should...

Morgan Parra vs George Chuter, and Manu Tuilagi simultaneous yellow

seriously... I'd not even consider this making up for all the anti-French refereeing...anyway, keep frustrated mate!

Morgan Parra vs George Chuter, and Manu Tuilagi simultaneous yellow

or you could just consider that it's what has to be done for referees doing their jobs. OR you can also consider than a guy weighing 70 kilos can actually get hurt by a prop weighing about 110...
Remember what happened at the RWC final, with that slick git Parra trying to head-butt great and fair player McCaw's knee??? I bet you were asking for a sin bin to Parra back there...

Luke McAlister's big charge through Nick Evans in the Heineken Cup

well a SH fan would say that NH rugby is 2nd division and keep it to that...I, however, would just say that Guy Novès (Toulouse's Head Coach, who's by far the best manager in NH when you look at titles won+frequency+wins v. defeats ratio) usually makes the best of his players.
McAlister's always been golden (we say "une pépite" in French) and with a "King Midas" like Guy Novès, he couldn't miss his shot...)
Picamoles was Man of the Match according to the UK commentators. I do agree (this guy ALWAYS GOES FORWARD!! can you remember the amazing try he set up for Trinh Duc against the All Blacks a couple years ago?)
Just hope Beauxis will be soon back to his best, playing with the likes of McAlister, Doussain and Burgess...
Hope to see Toulouse win this year, although I'd probably bet on Clermont, who've completed the perfect combination of "old talents" and new guys, formed at the club, such as Fofana and Buttin...remember these names guys they'll be around!
