Gatland's always been a bit of a sore loser, looking to blame the ref - could be a good trait in a coach but best to keep his comments to himself. I've always thought Eddie Butler to be incredibly biased when commentating on Wales and he was completely wrong with the Cooper yellow - definitely a penalty, not a yellow and no chance of a penalty try. As for the Tomane try i thought the hands went flat/backwards on the pass and therefore not a forward pass.
As for Barnes making the call himself, he often does this, gets the incident up on big screen and makes his own decision. Strong refereeing - used to dislike him but now a fan, up there with Nigel Owens and Poite for best refs imo.

Don't agree with the commentator that North deliberately tried to injure Barnes - he was trying to go for the ball and tackle Folau. Rugby is a contact sport and unfortunately these things happen - not foul play just big, big guys going full throttle for 80 minutes - as it should be. Ioane's clear out around the neck (which is so common at the moment) is far more dangerous in my eyes. IRB need to look at that otherwise serious injuries could occur as players twist necks.

hahaha he looks so bored trotting out all that nonesense - our back three is very average, and farrell is not a "tidy player" unless you take into account his strip as he's always on the bench. say it like it is steve, you're going to beat us by about 15 points but the scoreline will flatter us.

it was a mistake by the commentator, unless mendoza has moved considerably since i was there it's the andes that you can see in the background. nothing to do with the alps.

Barclay must have released the tackler as he was picking up and passing the ball - how do you pick the ball up and pass it without releasing the tackled player? He was also on his feet as demonstrated by the fact that he was running away from the tackle. Great piece of play from Barclay.
