Cheetahs hooker Adrian Strauss will miss the first three Springbok matches of the season after he was suspended for three weeks for a lifting tackle against the Stormers on Saturday night. Strauss pleaded guilty to the charge at the disciplinary hearing. MORE »

Toulon defend Heineken Cup title with comfortable final win over Saracens

Toulon joined an elite group of teams to have successfully defended their Heineken Cup title as they beat Saracens 23-6 on a historic occasion at the Millennium Stadium yesterday. Jonny Wilkinson contributed 13 points in his final game on British soil. MORE »

Sharks flanker Jean Deysel pleased guilty to a charge of stamping following the red card he received against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday. He has been suspended for three weeks. The Sharks went on to win the match 30-25. MORE »

A 135kg (at least) schoolboy prop scored a hat-trick of tries in a match between Sacred Heart College and Kelston Boys at the weekend. Known as the Tongan Thor, Taniela Tupou celebrated his 18th birthday in style by running in three great tries. MORE »

Zebre upset Ospreys with dramatic last gasp try in PRO12 clash

Italian team Zebre beat Welsh side Ospreys with a dramatic finale to their RaboDirect PRO12 match last night. Guglielmo Palazzani's late try helped them claim a famous 30-27 victory at home. The win is their second in succession for the first time this season, following their defeat of Edinburgh. MORE »

BYU score great try after neat passing and huge charge from Paul Lasike

This great try comes from the (USA) Varsity Cup Semi Final and the BYU Cougar's 60-0 drubbing of Navy in Utah on Saturday. After two great flick passes in the build up, Paul Lasike demolished the hapless Navy fullback to score from a powerful run. MORE »
