France, led by their ever-growing contingent of world-class stars, head into the 2025 Six Nations looking to knock Ireland off the top of the table for the first time since 2022.
Seemingly stuck in a period of ‘only’ domestic success, France’s national side have not achieved the successes of their domestic sides in recent years. Toulouse, Toulon and La Rochelle have all dominated in Europe during various stages within the past 15 years, winning multiple Champions Cups between them, while France have won just one Six Nations Championship since 2010.
This time Antoine Dupont and co are looking to go back to the past and bring some much-needed Six Nations success back to the present.
Such is the importance of getting the French public behind the team this year, France have teamed up with Addidas to create some of the most exciting ‘old school’ jerseys around. Donning the new stash designed purely for supporters, Dupont has shown off a traditional long-sleeved blue jersey as well as a vibrant white shirt straight from the 90s.

‘Steeped in sporting heritage, this Adidas France jersey would have looked perfect on the pitch at many different times throughout rugby’s long history. Its contrasting polo collar and long sleeves add a retro touch to supporters’ outfits. The 3-Stripes logo, the 3 tricolour stripes and the Gallic rooster inspired by the match kit add a more contemporary touch.’
