Jaguares second row Guido Petti pulled off this impressive bit of play against the Stormers at the weekend, earning him Super Rugby’s Play of the Week honour for round 17. He helped his team to their seventh win in succession, as they won 25-14 in Buenos Aires.

The big lock toe-poked the ball to himself somehow, then dashed down field before laying the ball back for the Jaguares to recyle and get it wide to Matias Orlando for the try.

All it missed was an ‘on the charge like a mad giraffe’ bit of commentary from Bill McLaren.

Actually to be honest... What the hell was the hooker doing making that try saving tackle? Where were the fast wingers/backs etc..

The Jaguares are fun to watch and I was surprised at how poorly they played against Wales and Scotland. Hope they can turn it around for the Rugby Championship.

Should have been a penalty try against the number 2 for ruining that fantastic charge!
